This is the definition of the 'close period. It does not apply to general announcements as you can see.

Directors and other PDMRs must not deal in shares during a 'close period', that is the period of 60 days before the announcement of annual results or the publication of the annual report (or, if shorter, the period from the end of the financial year to the announcement or publication).

Directors buys typically pickup financial press stories and speculation on where the business is heading, sometimes these buys are seen as negative as can be a front to bad news but I'm sure the finance journalists will report positive news on Hur if they don't already know how close to FOIL we are and on the back of the recent news on Claire Fields in general it's going to stoke the share price for Hur.

With poo ok today thought we would push on more after US open,normally a director buy of 150k pushes price higher percentage than we have risen. Great to finally see Chairman purchase a few.Blue so cant complain I suppose.

We might see a tacit agreement to cut oil production at the G20 this weekend ahead of the OPEC meeting and if we do I think we might move back toward the 50p level pre first oil if the oil price can regain $10 barrel.

Certainly the purchase of shares by the Chairman yesterday should help and probably generate news/buy recommendations in the press.
