05/12/2018 20:27 | If your a long term investor buying between 40p and 46p is a great buy, which could be the different before and after the OPEC meeting. | gary38
05/12/2018 20:24 | Welcome Anto. We look forward to your 'insider' contributions and insights. | bocase
05/12/2018 20:23 | Opec and Russia set to defy Trump with oil output cut | bountyhunter
05/12/2018 20:19 | Windy and rough at times for you I guess. However it's good to have another pair of ears and eyes in the industry. I like to think OPEC will cut but I'm sure another purchase after the meeting will be fine and not a much higher price than sooner. Bearing in mind that oil has already flowed from these wells the price should go higher once the buoy has been fitted, if not shortly before. Thereafter if the price jumps we will know the oil is flowing at a consistent rate. Big boys will be after us once they know the consistency is continuing. Or will one of them jump the gun? Dr T has played a blinder as originally he did not want to become a producer. However the absence of a partner at that stage forced his hand and with assistance from service providers such as Petrofac he has moved forward perfectly. Hopefully that forward motion will continue. | chessman2
05/12/2018 19:21 | and yes some very knowledgeable folk on here, this is my 1st ever investment, at 37 not too late to start, currently working in the oil and gas industry north sea | antokid1771
05/12/2018 19:18 | yes have bought in 3 times, twice at 46 and once at 40, ready to go in again, should I go pre or post opec? | antokid1771
05/12/2018 19:05 | Windguru website predicts it to be very windy in Shetland on the 15th of December. So, hopefully it will have blown over leaving calm seas by the time the Aoka Mizu arrives at Lancaster. | geo6078
05/12/2018 18:06 | I too totally agree. Maybe it's the share price affecting my sentiment. | f1araway
05/12/2018 17:50 | Absolutely, bocase. | lfdkmp
05/12/2018 17:49 | Well said LFD. We have contributors from the oil industry, the financial sector and everything in between and apart from that it is like having 100 pairs of eyes. Nothing gets published about HUR without it appearing on here moments later. | bocase
05/12/2018 17:45 | Don't agree with that F1araway. There are some very knowledgeable and informed posters on this thread. The thread generally also manages to avoid the squabbles and one-upmanship that is prevalent over on lse. | lfdkmp
05/12/2018 17:38 | Are you a shareholder Anto? | bocase
05/12/2018 17:37 | antI suggest a good book, this board will drive you nuts. | f1araway
05/12/2018 17:25 | Just saying hello, have been an avid reader on this board now for a few months. | antokid1771
05/12/2018 16:31 | Brent crude oil up 1.4% ahead of OPEC meeting tomorrow. | gary38
05/12/2018 09:15 | consolidation around this level, the share price will soon start disregarding world events etc. | fatnacker
05/12/2018 07:51 | Brent down 1.4% | the guardian
04/12/2018 22:39 | DNO are offering around £370m (considering they already own 28%) for a little over 100m bls of 2C in their bid for Faroe, everyone but DNO sees that as a predatory lowball bid. There's a huge disconnect for HUR simply because we aren't producing yet, if and when the EPS is shown to be producing as expected then we will re-rate and will re-rate further if the 3 drill planned for 2019 are successful (considering Lincoln has already been successfully drilled the chance of 3 dusters is small). It's a waiting game, the BOD are convinced, Spirit are convinced and I'm convinced but the market isn't and they set the price. | prefab
04/12/2018 21:23 | I hope that DNO don't bid for HUR at some point in the future as their offered premium to FPM holders is just 20% (although the bid which is hostile will not succeed at that level imho). | bountyhunter
04/12/2018 21:18 | I don't think that would buy it, if they can produce 17000 bopd from the early production system the potential is huge and could attract a bit north off 400p | fatnacker
04/12/2018 20:59 | If it hits 40p 2moro I'm back in for more and by the looks of the declines in US tonight that could be a possibility.Let's also hope on the other hand as Gary noted earlier a bid for all HUR assets would be worth at least £1 from a single bidder and dare I say £1.25 to £1.40 if more than one bidder.Id settle at those prices and be off to pastures new. | francis55
04/12/2018 20:37 | Fair summary David but I was disappointed that we didn`t gain more traction from yesterday`s oil price rise. | arcadian |
