02/10/2020 21:02 | Week 9 results are in... A better week for most of us with 21 in positive territory but the winner is Celeritas with SOLG at 33.85%, followed by Fozzie with EQT at 14.58% and in 3rd was Jeansy with TSG at 14.37%. Overall Bazboa is still in top spot with £31K, with Jeansy moving in 2nd with £20K and Ilostthelot moving down a spot into third with £18K. Still all to play for with Bazboa £11K ahead of Jeansy in 2nd place. Week 9 - Finals | ![]() odsjp
02/10/2020 20:48 | Agree very much. Thought he/the company looked an excellent prospect, especially fact they are funded through to production and then further exploration and the infrastructure is all there and ready to use. | ![]() qazwsxedc69
02/10/2020 19:52 | Lovely anecdote Lefrene Surprised the FO still took such expediencies, as late as '57 and passing the baton, so to speak. Wasn't Yeltsin in charge, 90-91? Amazed if he could have drawn a straight line on a map half the time:0) | ![]() 2sporrans

02/10/2020 16:59 | managed to find the time today :-) and it was well worth it!!! The Donald & Dave Trading Podcast Episode 1 - Hello World! I found this very refreshing to listen to MF, so much of what I have experienced over the last two years is highlighted and it certainly helps me to 'not be so harsh on myself' for those doh, Wan!!! moments I've had,, "failure is the best way to learn", yep, can't argue with that :-) as long as one doesn't get wiped out,,,, well, maybe even if one does,,, perhaps LOL... TA - agree with your comments.... I think its very valuable and as you say the trend is your friend.... Stan Weinstein's Secrets for Profit in Bull and Bear Markets Paperback - on order now :-),,, stage 1, 2, 3 yep, can see it everywhere :-) 'easier markets follow difficult markets' - like that :-) 'running your winners, no reason to sell when they are rising,,,, yep, but as you said liquidity plays a part in that,, sometimes you can only sell size when others are buying and the price is rising,,,, selling when the price is falling,,, especially on AIM,,, as I have learnt,,, is very tricky!!! LOL,,, to say the least!! :-) 4D - great analysis.... I've had a very similar experience there :-) MM's widening the spread to shut up shop!!! yep, see that on AIM so often!! AAZ - frustration shared,,, it's one of the most frustrating stocks,,, but, great divi's and I still believe after such a long consolidation it will rise again,,, but, we shall see :-) "share price down to the balance between buyers and sellers" and for the share price to rise it has to attract more buyers than sellers,,, consider who is holding it etc etc,,,, yep, totally agree :-) what's the catalyst for new people to buy a stock that's risen!!! yep, what news is coming etc etc,,,, all good advice for sure.. Liquidity is so important in this game :-),,, yep :-) You've also made me think about looking to invest in US stocks and other markets!!! a great podcast & I'm looking forward to more MF,,, Volume signals & Liquidity :-),,,, steadily rising volume as a big II takes a position etc :-) Great work which will be much appreciated MF, many thanx.... Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
02/10/2020 16:55 | Ain't that the truth Lefrene "..for convenience just drew lines on a map" like e.g. the Picot-Sykes line; i.e. the Iraqi-Syrian border. Ironically, another fall out from demise of the Ottoman Empire. The whole of African partition south of the Sahara, entirely arbitrary wrt indigenous peoples territories; as indeed pretty much anywhere on planet that was colonised or conquered. | ![]() 2sporrans
02/10/2020 16:44 | Basically agree with you dp Just a quibble: "it is an enclave entirely surrounded by Azerbaijan". Up to a point Lord Copper. There is a swathe of territory surrounding NK 'province' as such, which was Azerzi before the Armenians took over the show in the NK province. But the Armenians now occupy it, having invaded back 30 years ago and held/extended since then. Those extended gains 'fill in' the area to the W. of NK, up to the Armenian border, as such + plenty of 'padding' all around NK. So NK is not at all cut off from Armenia - as internationally recognised. This doesn't detract from the thrust of the points you make; just makes a mutually acceptable settlement and forwards evolution from it that bit more awkward. | ![]() 2sporrans |
