It was our second, the first was a dry run with limited circulation. We are aiming to do them weekly and try to keep it at 30 minutes. It is good fun and there's nothing better than talking about an idea for probing whether you actually understand it properly I think from a chart perspective AAZ doesn't look great right now. It needed to break out from 150 and it looked certain to do so. But, the flare up won't affect us and will pass, and the fundamentals are so good that they must outweigh any TA. So I'm not selling anyBtw did the guys say anything about 2021 production? With us likely to pull out 20k+ in Q4, there must be a chance we produce at the 90-100k level next year?

not at all …. it's great idea and well executed by the pair of you. I can see you picking up quite a lot of followers as you build a library of them. Hope you are enjoying doing them

$230k op. cashflow per day....based on 20k Q3 GE production, $1900 POG, $700 AISC, 12.75% Azerzi production share.

How will the border war impact upon this?
I don't see that it will; not significantly at least.

Even if the Armenians wished to attempt an invasion into Azerbaijani territory [Why? there's no Armenians to emancipate there and would prove very costly] they lack the muscle.
The Azerzis have critical advantages in numbers, most of all aircraft, drones.....
and will use that to knock out air defences, then progressively take out the well dug in Armenian positions + starve of supplies.
Ultimately, claw back territory, albeit at high cost to them in lives, material, $$$$.
In a war of attrition, that's very likely to be how it goes.

Likely end up with another cease fire and negotiations with Azerzis holding more of whip hand than previously.
Could be weeks away though, months even.

Hi Wan,

Can you have a look at the PUR graph please.

There is a gap on the way up on the 9th.

There is a gap on the way down on the 26th.

These gaps coincide....does that count as the gap filled.....my guess is that the share price is going to rise and fill the gaps in future.

The graph in general looks a bit wierd.....with that "breakaway" spike between the 9th and 26th.

Cinoib, I feel the business is very strong with exceptionally good management. The border war is plainly unsettling, perhaps the company will be able to give some insight into how they think it might affect operations, if at all?

I get the impression that the Azeri's have been building up for this, and that Turkey's involvement would have been part of a plan. Unfortunately it plays into Erdogans desires to re-create the Ottoman Empire, and the ancient friction with Armenia. But as Erdogan says, the problems been there for 30 years, and no one has really tried to sort it out. One hopes it is not going to escalate, and sense prevails, but that's a tall hope.

This Bus may be taking a longer route but it will get there.
All the share price changes are going on on very low volume...

did i hear someone expecting a rise on the back of the presentation? lol

seeing aaz's share price in red on a daily basis has become a bit of a norm

that said, although i cant predict what the share price will do in the short term, the company remains solid and has a clear vision - painful as it is looking at the share price drop, i continue to hold and if it gets to silly prices as some suspect, i definitely will go over over weight and buy more in my current account

Donald, nice podcast.
I like the tone and content and will be interested to see where you take it.
What about using youtube in the future if you need to share charts regularly?
Don't have to show your face just screenshare.

Well said mad foetus.

Production and exploration will not be affected. Shipments go out to the East via Baku etc.

Jeanesy I think UK investors are the only ones worried about the mine due to the conflict. The current operational mines are NOT in the conflict zones.

Lefene, am afraid you are right again and some of them on here too. I still smell a rat here but would loved to be proved wrong as is a sound company but watching it keep dropping as pog is rising, is not right. I like to invest to increase capital as well as any bonus, but this one has only gone down since it peaked a year ago so will stay on the sideline as spectator for now untill the future is made clearer.

Getting frustrated about things in the control of the company is one thing but those whinging about the flare up and calling it down to £1 are just annoying. Look at HUM...when it all kicked of in Mali this summer what was the way to go?This will blow over. Cool heads are what's needed

Pall of doom over AAZ this morn.
Nothing actually wrong with either the ops or prospects thereof.

unlike at Centamine CEY.

"Centamin plc announces that it has detected movement in a localised area of waste material in the Sukari open pit Stage 4 West wall and has decided to immediately defer open pit mining operations in this zone."

Basically, a wall collapse and likely months of lost production while fix.

I think Armenia have a youngish leader who isn't particularly pro-Putin...he'll have to change his tune shortly!
