Whoops sorry was not reading it slow enough just trying to get it up here as I had a work email to write. I though ODX were working on supplying an antigen test as well for a 15 min turnaround so got confused.
Too much alcohol last night does not help :0)
Thanks for the correction

thanx m40, I'm inclined to agree with you when you say,,,,

"I don't think Azerbaijan will stop until Armenia vacate the NK as Azeri President has stated this and will be a bit of loss of face and back to the status quo."

and it does look like, given time and no outside interference it will happen and happen fairly quickly now..

we shall see, cheers Wan

lefrene, one uncontrolled use of hydrox and vit D and you want to know if it works? Versus perhaps thousands of tests/samples done under lab conditions? you may as well go back to treating serious diseases like cancer with leeches...

Pogue, I hold both shares but it's important to realise the difference, the ODX test is an antibody test whereas the AVCT one is antigen they are not competitors and there is plenty of room for both

Wan.
Here is a tweet thread with a copy of what the Armenian MFA requested.

I don't think Azerbaijan will stop until Armenia vacate the NK as Azeri President has stated this and will be a bit of loss of face and back to the status quo.

Below is some videos on a twitter blog on of Azeri attacks on Armenia. No wonder they want to talk as it looks like they are getting obliterated.

Take a look at Rob Lee (@RALee85):

Trump has been taking hydroxychloroquine and vitamin D, so now we get to see if it works, I suspect it will. I can't see Trump with his mind on the election taking too much interest in yet another minor conflict in the Caucasus just now. I see Turkey as the cheer leader being a problem, as their influence might push the Azeri's into going too far, and then you might have Russia and Europe upping the ante.

Friendzarin makes some very good points, re AAZ less likely to be a strategic target.

One hopes the flare up won't last long and that it brings people back to the table to thrash out a long term solution. Who knows, perhaps the Armenians have seen the Azeri's as a soft touch and have been pushing their luck lately, and now the Azeri's have shown their teeth, the Armenians realise they are in a no win situation?

CV19 bingo call for ODX...important bit is...

UK-RTC AbC-19 lateral flow immunoassay shows a sensitivity of 97.70% (95.72%-99.34%) and specificity of 100% (100.00-100.00%).

AVCT better get their skates on.

Omega (AIM: ODX), the medical diagnostics company focused on CD4, infectious diseases and food intolerance, notes the publication of the preliminary report of an independent evaluation of Abc-19(TM) by Ulster University.

The independent report compares three commercially available immunoassays to evaluate performance metrics for the AbC-19(TM) lateral flow test, which is developed by the UK-RTC. The report notes the lack of a well-accepted gold standard assay against which to measure any newly developed immunoassay designed to detect antibodies to SARS-CoV-2.

To overcome these challenges, a 'pseudo gold standard' system was established against which to analyse the sensitivity and specificity of each of the three commercially available immunoassays using a well characterised serology sample set to evaluate performance metrics for the AbC-19(TM) test. Using the 'pseudo gold standard' system the report concludes that the UK-RTC AbC-19 lateral flow immunoassay shows a sensitivity of 97.70% (95.72%-99.34%) and specificity of 100% (100.00-100.00%).

Enjoyed it Donald, look forward to the next one. I for one would be interested in maybe you expanding on some US shares, best broker to use etc

I have posted before about buying shares on a dip caused by something outside of the companies control. Bush fires caused PUR to fall from c150 to less than 100, HUM 43 to 30, POG 34 to 24 and there are many others. I think this current AAZ situation falls into the same category and long term holders should be buying at this level, I know I have.

also on Aljazeera TV headlines,,, but, nothing more than "Armenia is ready to work with mediators to re-establish a ceasefire in the disputed region of NK, fierce fighting between Armenia and AZER has continued into a 6th day",,, seems to be an 'over to you AZER' type statement so the ball is now in AZER's court to respond,,, hopefully they will,,, fingers crossed, cheers Wan :-)

The VIX looks to me like it is slowly coiling itself up for another big upward move.
After that happened earlier this year, Gold put on $600/oz from mid-March to early August.
I would not be at all surprised to see Gold repeat that move and be up near $2,500 by middle February.
That could be a Special, Special FY divi

goldrush, that's what one would hope for, but with Erdogan behind the Azeri's there may well be a Turkish agenda, wanting to do an ethnic (religious) 'cleansing' of the region. Then before you know it it becomes a wider conflict. Are the Azeri's strong enough to stand up against Turkey's ambitions? None of us knows how this will pan out, one can only hope that both parties will realise that there's nothing worthwhile to be gained from war.

the daily bull/bear debate rages on here. Meanwhile the company continues to accumulate cash and press on with exploration.
Given the disparity between the two armies, I can't see Armenia overrunning Azerbaijan any time soon & therefore can't envisage the AAZ operations becoming unduly affected.
In a country with an economy unduly skewed to O&G, the govt really needs to encourage investment and growth in alternative sectors as fast as it possibly can.
AAZ is an outsize mining company … outsize in that it is a big employer in/around Gedabek and is capable of being more so. Having such a company that is creating value, employment, wealth etc in this region is a positive for the Az and it's govt. this is one area of the country that they should not need to worry about.
Let's all hope that this conflict peters out shortly and one its impacts it to hasten the govt's decision to award more acreage to AAZ for a longer time period.

There remains plenty of demand for the stock on each little wave of selling
