Pat Tiernan, Executive Director of Climate Savers Computing
Initiative since 2008, has more than 15 years' experience in
technology, most recently driving sustainability strategy and
execution at Hewlett Packard as the vice president of Social and
Environmental Responsibility. Tiernan is a recognized expert in
green technology, and media and industry leaders and conferences
often seek his opinion, particularly about computer sustainability
issues and the future of IT energy efficiency and its impact on
climate change. He has spoken at important industry conferences
such as Corporate Eco Forum (2009), ITU Telecom World (2009),
Interops Energy Camp (2009), Virtual Energy Forum (2008), Interop
(2007), and many others.
He also leads Climate Savers Computing Webinar series that the

Computing, Tiernan drives forward the organizations mission to
