@jointer it says in that presentation VRS have scaled up to 100g/day while maintaining quality.

I know Mr. Ricketts probably thinks this is shamazing but companies like NanoXplore are scaling to 10,000 tonnes!

I believe that all of the feedback from the worlds experts and the test results from end users are pointing at Versariens nanene being the very best there is. I also believe that with the right branding and marketing it wouldn't necessarily have to be. A win win here in my book.

Stated on Elcora's site -

Among all the global graphene producers tested, Elcora graphene was found to have 55% of graphene content (the highest measured).

From the Nanene data sheet 90% sub 10 layer material ie Graphene.

It would appear that CA2DM didn't test Nanene as it's way better on Graphene content.

@phoenixs you wrote "Versarian has become one of the global leaders in graphene "

Is this by graphene produced? Sales volume? R&D spend? or Tweets produced by each CEO?

Poor old Timbo. Versarian has become one of the global leaders in graphene and he still cannot resist coming onto this board to try to down VRS. You have failed dear man so why do you not just go back to the Haydale board and spout your rubbish there.

Hope you don't mind jointer, but I think this is worth reposting:

genuine scale up.

we can meet high demand'

● When Versarien bought 2D-Tech, production of 4g of Graphene took 90 hours

● That is ~1g per day

Versarien have scaled up the process to produce much larger quantities whilst maintaining the same quality

● For the last year, Versarien has had the capability to produce 100g / day

Versarien now has proven the technology to produce 1kg of Nanene grade material per day

● The proven process is in the final stages of set-up for production

In 2 years, production has increased 1000 fold

Plans are in place to: > install larger machines capable of producing tens of kg/day > use multiple machines to meet higher demand

Versarien also produce Graphene Ink which can be used in printed electronics

● Trials were recently conducted to demonstrate that production can go from 1 litre per day to 40 litres per day

● This will meet commercial demand for graphene ink

Not long now imo before news beyond the norm appears here.

Have you seen how much Talga pay themselves , even your favourite man Warwick Grigor has a problem with them.

You trying to spoil 1teepees thread now? You could just link to your previous post, less is more.

Rat

Tim in that case I believe has fallen for the BS, some BODs can be so convincing. I had a fraud all for the PRG BS, I begged him to sell and he lost near all his money as the BOD convinced him otherwise, very nice guy.

I just didn't want PIs here falling for the same BS Tim was, some did at first. I think Ridicule was fan and invested at some point.

I'm trying to recall from memory there so apologies Rid if it wasn't you.

I even know some that tried to warn off bigger backers that didn't listen, so you can imagine those conversations now of "well I did try to warn you"

And incidentally its very debatable whether Mr McDonald produces burgers better than, or even as good as the rest, but he's succeeded where many others haven't. Business model, branding, global marketing and scalable production. Tick tock.

Arrow Greentech – An Indian partner for Versarien?

How big a player is Arrow Greentech in India?
Market cap now $17m (1.25bn Indian rupees) down 90% from highs.

Looking at their P&L from their latest filings one can see why the share price has been decimated.

Arrow Greentech working with Versarien

Remember this is what Versarien say in their RNS (
"Arrow GreenTech will act as the Company's exclusive agent for the supply of graphene to the tyre and associated rubber sectors in India.
This will be subject to the terms of a separate sales agency agreement; and
Versarien will grant Arrow GreenTech the right of first refusal to enter into discussions regarding any future plans for the Company to create a manufacturing facility in India.”

This is what the Chairman or Arrow Greentech has to say about their work in the UK with Graphene (the only mention of Graphene in their 17/18 accounts.)

"Brexit will be beneficial to your company, as Arrow’s UK subsidiary companies will gain importance while opening the Indian and European markets. We have been focusing on newer and greener technology,
like using Graphene to replace carbon black, and this vision will fructify in the coming years. Arrow UK has been working with some leading technology partners in UK, for this project.”

Sounds good? It sounds like their UK Subsidiary might be quite a big deal? I think you can find the UK Subsidiary here
again a tiny company with a tiny balance sheet ~£3m.

How big is Arrowtech in the ~$10 billion Indian tire market?

A search of keywords like tires, rubber, of the 17/18 accounts gives no results.

What do other say about Graphene in Tires? (
In September 2016, Goldman Sachs Global Investment Research published a report on Advanced Materials (Profiles in Innovation).
Goldman Sachs analysed the possibility of using graphene instead of carbon black to reinforce tires.
They estimated that for tires requiring 25 weight% loading of carbon black, graphene at 1.5 weight% would provide the same or better performance.
Based upon this graphene loading and assuming a carbon black price US$1.50/kg, Goldman Sachs calculated that graphene would be competitive at a cost of US$25/kg.
NanoXplore believes that a selling price of less than US$10/kg would be required to ensure the rapid take up of graphene across carbon black markets.
The most basic and inexpensive carbon black sells for between $US 1-2/kg and is typically used at around 30 weight % loading, although loadings
in some products such as rubber can exceed 50 weight%. Specialty varieties of carbon back can cost up to $50/kg or more, and high conductivity
versions cost around $25/kg. For the same benefit in the final product, graphene loadings of 1-5 weight% would be typical.
Therefore, graphene selling at US$10/kg would be competitive with even the most basic and inexpensive carbon black.
Remember Versarien are expected to have a facility to produce just 3tpa of graphene coming online towards the end of this year.
At even USD$25/t (estimated by Goldman Sacs) that’s yearly revenue of just $75K.

@serratia didn't you understand? Elcora came out as the best of the 60 tested. Do you think Versarien nanene was included in the test? If it was why isn't NR shouting abotu how it came out top?

@lucky did the senior management of AECOM come to Neill's defense when he tried to defend his stance on giving absolutely no guidance on pricing of vrs graphene?

AECOM I'm sure are looking at a lot of different graphene solutions. There's been a lot of work done by Talga who probably lead the way in adding graphene to concrete.

A bit unfair to quote Elcora. The graphene part of their FLG may be ok but their data sheet says the material as sold is only 55% graphene with 45% graphite.
