Right if I understand it properly it's because of who it was responding to in the thread. I'm with Lucky here so is there any chance you could just repost it and get rid of first sentence and replace with something suitable which expresses my opinion about why the Ganomat purchase was logical and it's nowt to do with being a battery supplier and its quality rather than quantity which counts in these scenarios.

My apologies superG. Never had a moderated post before, could you let me know what broke any rules as thought it was just a generic post on where disruptive technologies come from, big co's or small co's.

I think the point has been missed that with ICE you need to fill it with fuel at some point and that means a trip to a garage or petrol station.

Fill ins would probably be battery stations in a container and from what I understand they top up overnight when the national grid needs consistency , also pretty sure that there will be remote extendable arms so that you can get more than two vehicles at one 'pump'.

Interesting discussion though , keep going Moljen just a minor misunderstanding .

I didn’t say I had you filtered. BB getting trashed here by the usual crew.

Hence to tidy it up there is a rule of temp bans (red card) and just moderate (yellow card) for minor indiscretions.

Many have them filtered and don’t want to see the lies and general trash. So I’m assisting them.

Btw Mike B and Serratia (among others) provide some good solid research here.

So note the rules.

That's a shame SuperG as I recommend your posts to people who want to know more about VRS.

That’s what I do Ade. So if they ask something or post something I can’t see it.

There are some who contribute materially, some others are just passengers.

This is not new for ADVFN, it’s been like it for over a decade.

Sometimes when I check new shares there is no thread of note which probably means there is one but it’s invisible due to the filtering system. Any thread a filtered avatar creates can’t be seen.

@Moljen don't you think companies like Panasonic who have spent hundreds of millions if not billions researching battery tech will be light years ahead of Gnanomat with their IP? I'm told Gnanomat were a 2 man band with just a single patent filed and not granted. Now they are looking for a new CTO.

The Gnanomat website says they were looking at super capacitors. Go look at Skeleton Tech who are currently producing and selling super capacitors with Graphene. There are many other examples of leaders in this area.

Oh and VRS don't have the scale to produce enough Graphene for a serious battery producer or the security of graphite supply as far as I'm aware. Samsung's latest phone is said to contain a Graphene enhanced battery. It's not VRS involved.

VRS has a process to make what some people call FLG Graphene but others describe as GNP currently at pretty low volumes. Nobody on this board can tell me why the Graphene they produce is any better than other Graphene from producers like XGS, FGR, Talga etc. for the applications they claim it will enhance. The same people seem happy to pay almost 10x as much for VRS stock than the average of it's peer group. A factor I've described as the Twitter Multiple.

Good luck

Fat Controller - that makes two of us, when I first saw in 2013 I was blown away and every new presentation he does it just gets better and better.
O/T - a good hour research is on batteries per se - Lithium Ion, Sup Caps, and a dark horse rapidly coming up the outside lane Graphene. Hydrogen is interesting but at the minute to me feels like it could be the Betamax to the VHS (if youre old enough to remember)

All the EV talk is very interesting and not O/T as you have to understand the end market for any product.

The driving force behind autonomous vehicles and efficient recharging will be the EV manufacturers themselves. What better way to increase demand for your product by having it used for as much as possible of the day rather than the current 0 to 5 percent.

Tesla are about to launch the automated drop off, park and collect upgrade to their cars! The pace of change is amazing and what catches most businesses out these days.

Also, transparent solar panels can now be made so the windows or your house and the windows of your car, and all sorts of surfaces can be solar panels.

If you are in a hurry watch from about 15 minutes.

It's quite advanced on the Isle of Mull too. Back to focus on VRS tomorrow. Though this is not totally O/T

London will be first. We are choking to death and we are already used to car clubs etc. I am a Zipcar member and I motorcycle most of the time as you can't get around London in a car. When I need a car I hire it by the hour and leave it in a designated space. Many of these cars are already electric and the charging stations at the side of the road are sprouting up everywhere. If you live in the sticks, you'll be owning your vehicle for the foreseeable future but we will see a combo of home charging points and charging stations springing up in even the remotest areas. Farmers like a cheap refuel and most rural stations offer LPG so why not a nice cheap charge up?
The main worry for me is making the electricity. I hope we can get solar sorted so we don't have to use nuclear.

I thought one of the whole points of VRS is that they are very much into disruptive battery technology. Did NR buy a Tesla just for his own private use, or to use as a test bed for new battery technology?

Well we'll see I agree about lethargy on some infrastructure. The zap go video does show a big hole under the charging station. But petrol stations have huge tanks underneath. Also the National Grid is with others looking at V2G which sees EVs as helpful as the grid change moves forward - coal now solar and wind . Storage is also on verge of solution.
