Whites123 - I agree with your sentiments but I still think executives have much to learn about how to manage investor relations and perceptions created by bad or late comms. Also operationally they haven't covered themselves in glory.

I believe a deal will be done in Uganda soon, giving TLW 200ml and a carried 11% share of 200,000 b/d in due course. Probably more important than any one drill result?

A lot of you guys are funny..

Charts will plot and show you historical events only.
Charts do not, can not and will not ever predict the future.
Heck, if they did then everyone here would be multi millionaires not worrying about checking the share price every two minutes or making further comment about dipping in, dipping out nd shaking it all about.

Carapa has now been talked about so much there are some here who believe its a make or break drill for TLW... Again, you allow yourselves to be directed into believing forums.

TLW has debt, of course it does, but again the debt has been on the booked for some while... Its not new and its not a surprise, in fact the debt is lower and quite considerably lower than it has been... but yet again people are suddenly discussing like it is a new issue..

TLW is in fact a very healthy Oil Producer with some great licenses.

There was a hiccup in that the recent discovery has turned out to be heavy oil which "MAY NOT" be commercially viable to produce... again there has been no abandonment of this find, yet the forum has allowed itself to be blindly mislead into believing its essentially been capped.

Im so so glad none of you are in charge of my money... I would have sleepless nights, whereas putting it into TLW i can sleep well in the knowledge that when the shenanigans have played out it will rise and rise some more to a much fairer valuation and will reward me with great profits.

So close to a billion £ market cap gets wiped off from a £2.8bn company post the trading update and no one is held accountable? Thought IIs usually are very strict especially when tlw would mostly have big IIs on the register.

The managmnt seems more interested in running a BAU co. Than a growth focused company. Exploration strategy is terrible, no focus, are basically in every region with no core areas. As if the strategy is to buy into all the available acreages worldwide ... maybe one of them will be the next Guyana , in the next decade or so. It’s like buying every stock in the stock market to nail down the sure shot multibaggers. Silly strategy. Tlw Needs to pull back from so many places and be more focused. Why was there a need to enter Argentina’s malvinas basin when there are 20 other better geological countries left to explore in the existing portfolio. Unnecessary capex when balance sheet needs to be strengthened ASAP. Tlw Needs to start offloading stake in Ghana and boost production more in stable non Ghanaian African oil producing countries.

It amazes me investors referring to debt as if A: the debt only just appeared on the balance sheet out of thin air, B: as if Tullow is the only entity that took on debt in response to the collapsing oil price C: completely ignoring that trend for loaded balance sheets in large companies D: totally ignoring Tullow's pretty decent performance in reducing debt levels

Will they continue paying a dividend with disappointing production figures and the bad news from Jethro and Joe? There is an awful lot of debt to repay ($2.8 billion).
