07/11/2019 05:39 | Problems mounting here. Uganda FID and farm down. Kenya FID and farm down. TEN production problems. Non-commerciality of Joe and Jethro. Crazy high overheads. Oil price. share price should be lower IMHO. | ![]() hsfinch
06/11/2019 22:18 | looking at the capital markets day presentation i see there are 2 carapa's one in the tertiary and one in the cretaceous are these stacked or is it just a mistake ? its on slide 24 | manicat
06/11/2019 18:41 | a jack up rig should be a lot cheaper to hire than a drillship for a start | manicat
06/11/2019 17:30 | manicat Pro rata the share of the two licenses - Orinduik and Kanuku - the costs are almost identical, $30 million at 60% and 37.5% at $20 million. The water depth at Carapa might be much shallower but the ground depth is deeper than at Jethro, so it's not easy to make such cost comparisons. | ![]() captain james t kirk
06/11/2019 15:43 | its far to early for results of carapa my guess is the 2nd of december. imo they are casing the well as they go as the cost allowed for this well is very high in comparison to the jethro well | manicat

06/11/2019 10:29 | POO looking for upside at the moment. Be interesting to see if TLW now aims for 217. could still fall further first, but 217 looks likely in the relatively near term. Wish 180 wasn't sitting their waiting as I'd have been much more active here without that. | ![]() stupmy
06/11/2019 10:09 | But there are traders making a good living bouncing it up and down by 10/15 points, while long termers watch with open mouth?...which is par for the course while awaiting drill results! | ![]() rayrac
06/11/2019 10:04 | Not a good leak either reading between the lines? Bit early perhaps, but if they hit water at the top, then some guys been on the phone. | ![]() rayrac
06/11/2019 09:49 | Maybe a leak regarding Carapa 1 as no reason whatsoever for 4% drop | mccracken227
06/11/2019 08:26 | Not sure what caused this mornings drop although 220 was technical resistance from my point of view, so I was expecting it to an extent. For the moment though it seems that PMO and ENQ are not following (they might yet do that and I dropped 20% of my ENQ yesterday at b/e). Good chance that TLW move to 217 and 210, we'll have to wait to see which order that happens in. I still worry about 180 | ![]() stupmy

05/11/2019 14:35 | The ECO September 2018 CPR had this little snippet on Abary 1 on P25. 05/11/2019 13:59 | Why would they get a drill on site...and then not use it? Of course they are drilling Carapa, it’s just the result we need..another two weeks perhaps? | ![]() rayrac
05/11/2019 12:03 | SS: 3rd Sept date was commencement of project only, however there has been steady OSV traffic to and from the drill site from the 15th Oct. Always one or two OSV's at the drill site, often alongside what I assume the rig. OSV's are based in Trinidad and many are giving their destination as 'Valaris EXL-II' The 'rig' has been stationary since 17th Oct around N7.607 W-57.27 according to marinetraffic.com Zoom out to see rig right in the middle of heavy Liza traffic from G'town Not amused here if drilling not under way! as you say an expensive well. | ![]() billy_buffin

05/11/2019 08:35 | Interesting to see if it breaks back over 218/219 level and heads back towards 250 | ![]() matt
05/11/2019 07:39 | I am not sure drilling has started ,Perhaps waiting for regulatory approval or CPR if rig is idle it must be costing a lot of money . This was the first report from Guyana dated 3 Sept local content! more about preparation I think. We should find out next week on Tullow,s update | ![]() subsurface
