04/10/2019 09:23 | This is on dog of a company. Seems credibility is one issue they mustAddress and of course over compensation of management who have proven incapable at best or perhaps incompetent in failing to see the political landscape when dealing with inherently corrupt regimes | ![]() badger36

04/10/2019 08:33 | The 'GH Challenger' remains in Trinidad. No sign of the rig, under either of its names. It not broadcasting on AIS. Tight hole? Nothing to be seen at Carapa drill site area. Edit: "GH Navigator" in Trinidad also | ![]() billy_buffin

03/10/2019 14:35 | I have 201.7 as likely in the near future, but a break above 204.25 (close of 2h period; 16:00 GMT perhaps) might suggest a rise to 210/211 in the short term. I'm watching for this, although I still think we'll see 180 soon. In the meantime I started to buy Barc.. again at 141. | ![]() stupmy

03/10/2019 09:14 | Morning xxnjr, have a look at TRIG for a solid investment in renewables. Relatively small on a global scale but have increased their generating capacity substantially over recent years across UK & Europe. With 1.5Gw capacity. They are more a dividend play but are well backed institutionally, with share price rising 20% over 3 years. Currently returning 5.5% p.a. | carlosalberto70
02/10/2019 16:43 | Your probably right Stupmy when it is drifting down like this it always reacts more than the price of oil. I was thinking 200 | mccracken227
02/10/2019 16:09 | 201/202 looks likely for share price now from my perspective. I previously posted my rationale. If that fails to act as support, then 198 just might hold, then 193, but I still think we'll see 180. Check the chart I posted previously or this one (slightly adjusted to take account of recent movements). | ![]() stupmy
02/10/2019 12:02 | Some random thoughts. Probably down to US Shale and US importing less from the Middle East. If you produce 12.5m bbls locally every day - Is a stock draw of 30m bbls over 40 weeks that significant? The storage is now in the Permian. Then layer in oversupply and slowing world economy. US/China on/off trade talks. EV's. Oil being a dirty word, or politically incorrect. And now Iran/Saudi may even start some form of dialogue. Edit----> “One thing the market is really grappling with [conventional] energy companies at the moment is how to value them,” Thomas Holl, a fund manager at BlackRock, said." -------------------- There don't seem to be many significant RE players coming out of Europe, judging by I almost bought Vestas one or two years ago, but inertia got the better of me! Only euro names on wiki's list I recognise are Orsted and Vestas. Get the feeling I should know more about Renewable Energy, suppliers and equipment makers! | ![]() xxnjr
02/10/2019 10:51 | badger36, There's a lot of anger here too about that priest. Back to oil. API the net draw for the year is 29.85 million barrels for the 40-week reporting period so far, using API data. 6 million draw and oil price down, I can't really understand oil price or tullow anymore. If it was 10 years ago, I expect Tullow would be worth over £5 with all the current news. Is it all EV related that is crushing oil price or something else? | ![]() mcsean2164

30/9/2019 10:53 | A total disgrace that the Irish used every device and excuse to keep that lucifer like figure away from the hands of justice. No wonder the provos has nothing to fear when politicians played with peoples lives. Recall all the courts releasing suspects if they used automatic weapons as it was interpreted as "political" then. Kevin Myers kept writing about it but fell on deaf ears. I hope Ryan dies a very painful and lonely end | ![]() badger36

28/9/2019 17:38 | XX the gas: Looking at above no doubt Guyana have been knocking on XOM's door for a pipeline to shore and process plant for the gas. Currently for energy needs around 80% is by importing petroleum products. The remaining energy source (18%)is by burning a by product of sugar manufacture. I read that finally on phase 3 there is an XOM mention of a pipeline although the plan is to continue re-injecting. There is also money in the gas by extracting and marketing the C3+'s and gas condensate. | ![]() billy_buffin |
