11/11/2019 10:42 | Folk might be interested in a discussion concerning the Exxon/Hess/CNOOC Mako prospect that they are about to drill. Although assuption can be a dangerous pastime, I 'm assuming that it's another Cretaceous play, particularly given its 6 miles proximity to Liza and its location sandwiched between Liza and Snoek to the south of Liza: "Good morning extrader GH certainly talks about the Exxon/Hess Mako in the same breath as our Mako at around 2 min 10 secs: Perhaps more pertinent is the commitment to drill three wells next year :) To further muddy the waters, as I said yesterday, Tullow/Eco have Mako as a Tertiary play as shown on P4 on this link and it's estimated to contain 250 mmbo on P5 : However, on the standard cross section map that the partners release, it is shown as an Upper Cretaceous play on P5 : I'm sure all will be revealed tomorrow at the presentation." | ![]() captain james t kirk
11/11/2019 10:31 | If you're right about the newsflow, it starts to point towards that 180 area I've been discussing. I'm still not exposed, but keeping a watch on things. To be honest, although the share price here is not showing any strength, at the current time it doesn't partcularly look company specific as PMO and ENQ are also languishing. | ![]() stupmy

11/11/2019 00:04 | Carlos No problem ,we are all doing our best to keep up with the news flow. An interesting interview from October the 8th We were doubting how quickly Saudi got production back up, and interesting comment on China playing Trump to the elections,We talked about him using trade talks to control POO, | ![]() subsurface
10/11/2019 11:03 | Just to add to the woe EG. According to last years fact book EG was supposed to contribute a net 6000 bopd for Tullow in 2019FY. Actual Q1/Q2/Q3 so far net to Tullow 5543* bopd. [*back of envelope estimate based on what Kosmos reported] | ![]() xxnjr

10/11/2019 10:07 | Seems TLW etal are still a long way from getting agreement in Uganda. Hard ball being played by both sides. One month deadline to respond to Ugov demands. Never mind the CGT issue... The government won't even give them a block number of work permits, and want to scrutinise every one ! An object lesson of how to shoot yourself in the foot. I am sure foreign investors will be rushing to their door....not. Also issue of where the pipeline company should be registered. hxxps://www.thecitiz | carlosalberto70

08/11/2019 08:48 | Trading update Nov 13th. Mark it in your diaries. PMO 14th, capital market day for ENQ 21st (can't see a date for their trading update, but it often comes soon after PMO). POO weakening for the moment and if brent falls below 61.4 it could move back to the late nineties. That weakness seems to be having a disproportionate impact on TLW share price (brent off 2.5%, TLW off nearly 6%, ENQ off nearly 5%, PMO off 3.8%). If brent fell to 59 (6.5%) we could see TLW down to 186, ENQ down to 17 and PMO down to 80 p or so if they continued to fall with the same relationship with brent price. Then again, with enough 'ifs' you could put Paris in a bottle. | ![]() stupmy
08/11/2019 08:01 | Total set for busy 2020 Africa wildcat programme French giant planning up to 10 exploration wells off continent, with South Africa, Angola and Namibia high on agenda The Maersk Voyager is currently plugging the well discovery for Kosmos just up the road in the Gulf of Guinea and then travels to Angola for two wells and then we have Venus 1, looking like January ? | jimarilo
08/11/2019 01:34 | Good morning xx nice to see you back, not much change in the share price but we are ready for some news flow over the next few weeks/ months. Great post on the Kanuku block and Captain Kirk noted the drilling history from the ECO CPR posted on 5th November Shell drilled the Abary #1 well which found oil and gas shows and 09/11/2018 26 Gustavson Associates flowed 37o API oil from a turbidite at a depth of 3,990 meters (13,091 feet). With better Technology can improve our chances. Kenya/Uganda news | ![]() subsurface
07/11/2019 22:38 | Haven't really been following this terribly closely. Anyway Repsol mentioned this in the q3's (apologies if already posted):- In Guyana, the drilling of the Repsol-operated Carapa well in the Kanuku block started some days ago in October. This well will test the upper Cretaceous and the lowermost tertiary play, targeting the same formation as in successful neighbouring prospects. Had not appreciated Carapa-1 also targets the lower tertiary. Two for the price of one. | ![]() xxnjr
