The milkman woke me up SS! Apparently some of the processing equipment removes H2S. Dismantling of that equipment will need to be done in a careful (time consuming?) manner.

Morning xx Up early,
Not suprised it will take a couple of months its difficult to see the scope of work on the process equipment if its repairs they will need to isolate purge and vent clean systems prior to hot work then lots of Fabrication / inspection work and radiography.and a commissiong proceedure,
check the integrity of the supports maybe even vessel change out,new fire proofing and also repair /replace the electrical and instrument systems, parts and equipment may need to be ordered.
Busy time I wonder who will do the work perhaps contract.

As the race to capitalize on Guyana “sweet, light crude” heats up, Exxon is preparing to bring in a fourth drill ship into the basin to speed up exploration of its massive concession. Officials say this is an indication as to the extent of suspected oil reserves. So far only a tenth of its 6.6 million acres of its concession have been explored.

hottest area for exploration globally and could hold reserves way in excess of the 16 billion barrels that the US Geological Surveys has long touted.

XX Good article. see they picked up the sour crude problem and buyers having to accept sour not sweet crude due Abqaiq processing down.
US Gulf Coast could handle the sour! Venezuela embargo.

Oil ,I guess they are drawing from reserves and many tankers at sea but at some point the oil will need to be replaced. If a war starts with Iran it could impact the whole Gulf region.Its a very dangerous situation and it could change the middle East forever.

Aramco are looking to buy 20m barrels of crude from SOMO, also tendering for refined products having diverted crude for Aramco refineries to crude for export.
