03/9/2019 02:01 | Saudi Oil News Falih has not really fully delivered on oil prices. He hasn’t delivered the price that’s required by the Saudi budget. There’s speculation that prices and the IPO are linked and they need higher prices to get the valuation they want for the IPO.” The country needs crude to trade near $80 a barrel to balance its budget, according to research from the International Monetary Fund Would be great for Tullow $80 but Trump is also a problem, | ![]() subsurface

02/9/2019 12:53 | its predicted as a 22 day drill from the spud so it was spud on the 25th and if a discovery i would think they would spend some time wireline logging maybe casing but there has never anything said about casing the well. as i said the longer we have to wait for the rns the better all imo oc | manicat
02/9/2019 11:47 | You reckon that late? I heard this week potentially but only an estimate timing | sentimentrules
02/9/2019 11:44 | im predicting results on the joe well on the 16th or 23rd the later the better imo | manicat
02/9/2019 11:44 | Hi manicat and xxnjr. There is a school of thought that says the market is only valuing Tullow on its prospective cash flow yield anyway ... with very little value assigned to assets awaiting FID. I can see that the share price is well supported on this basis but I felt that Uganda would tip sentiment negatively. I heard also that Museveni has been borrowing in advance of the purchase agreement being concluded.... anticipating the taxes he would be receiving would recover the excess. This will put him under pressure. If the next well in Guyana is successful for Tullow , I think we will revisit the highs for the last 12 months . | ![]() bootycall
02/9/2019 11:15 | I guess Joe results could come as early as about 10 days from now. More likely about 20 days from now. But the other well Carapa is probably mid to late Oct/Early Nov result. (Rig not even on location yet?). [TLW have C as a 60 day well. Repsol say 45 days. C about 60kms S of Jethro] | ![]() xxnjr
02/9/2019 11:01 | bootycall you are in the wrong share if you want to see some impact from the orinduik wells at best they are supporting tullow | manicat
02/9/2019 10:48 | Be very aware this week... Also, WTI is very poor support at 54.77.. If it relents, 52's within hours | sentimentrules
02/9/2019 10:45 | Tullow holding up well ... considering pull back in oil price and Ugandan issues. I really don’t want to miss out on two huge wells in Guyana which could transform the share price so I have bought back a small holding. Much more fun being in the game ! GLA | ![]() bootycall
01/9/2019 20:19 | Yes...but nothing wrong with the extreme targets until market calls otherwise.. | sentimentrules
01/9/2019 20:14 | Yeah, think you're right.Nice gap down to 180p to fill, after that, who knows. | keifer_1

01/9/2019 16:43 | With regard to the uncouth SR - suggest the regulars here filter the pleb!!! Best not to engage with the philistine. That way SR's boorish content will have no audience. | ![]() xxnjr
01/9/2019 16:09 | All good. I read it with a positive spin - i.e. don't think anyone will get the TLW stake (part or all) because Total will pre-empt | ![]() oilretire
01/9/2019 14:55 | Hope you are keeping well. Quite correct Oilretire I have been thinking about that for a few days Preemption rights could keep blocking progress maybe its all part of a master plan?only time will tell. | ![]() subsurface
01/9/2019 14:46 | Total take time in that short statement to point out - Total keeps the right to pre-empt any future transactions, in case any party divests part or all of its interest | ![]() oilretire
