21/8/2019 10:13 | Good morning Carlos, Trust you are in good health. This should help, Abary is AB-1 :) Have never been able to find much info on Abary. The east, near the Suriname border seems more Gas/Condensate prone. Carapa is more to the west, quite close to Jethro. | ![]() xxnjr
21/8/2019 09:50 | xxnjr, good morning. A longtime since we last spoke. I have been trying to find where exactly Carapa is in relation to Abary and Jaguar both of which found oil but had drilling issues. "Shell's Abary-1 well, drilled in 1975 in what is now Repsol YPF’s Georgetown licence, found oil and gas shows, and flowed 37° API light oil." "Jaguar-1 was a high pressure, high temperature well which was spudded in February 2012 using the Atwood Beacon rig. Whilst the primary Late Cretaceous objective was not reached, samples of light oil were successfully recovered from two Late Cretaceous turbidite sands above the primary objective." I have searched high and low but can find no details on any of the parties websites or elsewhere. Do you or anybody else have any ideas ? Regards CarlosAlberto70 | carlosalberto70
21/8/2019 09:25 | Definitely. Can't imagine we would get that now though. More prospect drill out required. But it illustrates the potential to deleverage the balance sheet. | ![]() xxnjr
21/8/2019 08:46 | "We estimate that selling half of its stake could raise circa $1bn, a substantial amount relative to its net debt of $2.9bn." should we sell for that? | ![]() subsurface

21/8/2019 03:27 | Political situation Guyana General elections are currently due to be held in Guyana in 2019 after the government of David A. Granger lost a vote of no confidence by a margin of 33–32 on 21 December 2018.[1] The government had held a one-seat majority since the 2015 elections, but one of its own MPs, Charrandas Persaud of the Alliance for Change (AFC), voted with the opposition. With so much at stake money talks. Should Tullow farm down before the Elections? They will have to at some point they need the cash and it does not make sence to have the Junior partner running the show. but how to value a farm down share at the moment? Perhaps after Joe possibility Rappu. They could drill Aurituk/Hammerhead while they are making up there minds on other prospects for the new year , | ![]() subsurface
21/8/2019 03:05 | Over the weekend I was looking at the two Exxon Dissapointing wells Skipjack drilled 2016 cretacious sandstone Dry well 40km south of Liza. and Sorubim 2018 None Commercial Just interested to see the locations in relation to Orinduik.and if we can gleam anything from them. Skipjack Dry or None commercial? Sorubim not sure of the play type? Two comments I noticed reading different reports There are potentially more than 20 Lisa type prospects on the Exxon Block. Over 40 dissapointing wells have been drilled off Guyana over the years prior to Exxons success, brings it into prospective. Dont know if any can be used to dump /store gas.until process operations are set up | ![]() subsurface
21/8/2019 00:39 | Regarding the Gas. I hadn't realised Pluma was a gas discovery and Haimara was Gas/Condensate. This may help ExxonMobil. Firstly, it gives them somewhere to dump the gas, should associated gas volumes exceed sensible limits of re-injection into producing oil reservoirs. Secondly, Pluma/Haimara volumes + Associated Gas from 750K bpd of Oil may be a gateway to commercialising the gas at scale, either by pipeline to Brasil, or LNG perhaps. | ![]() xxnjr

19/8/2019 12:33 | Something is driving price up tody (also elsewhere e.g. PMO in a similar pattern). For TLW volume is low and I won't re-enter until price hits the 181/182 level (I think it will) and I suspect it would be better to wait for the 135 area. | ![]() stupmy
