28/8/2003 19:42 | Erm...2 rather large trades at end of day..anyone any views? | badtime
28/8/2003 10:21 | h7, what i need to do is buy lots more trio shares, then, go down to the animal shelter and rescue a wee cat. call the cat "trio" and wait. the last three cats "soco" "minmet" and "turbo" have certainley earned their jelly meat whiskers. | drago
28/8/2003 00:43 | Ramping? Blair forbid :-) | big_cat
27/8/2003 17:30 | Drago: Indeedy, how very true !! I've long thought that if you put 50 squillion volts through this, it wouldn't even twitch. Back to the bottom drawer it goes and I'll have another look in 3 months time! | 7h
27/8/2003 17:00 | Interesting coincidence - all purchases today have been at the same price leading me to believe that MMs are fulfilling a large order!! mmmmmmmmmmmm...hold steady guys | big_cat
27/8/2003 00:31 | Volume getting higher, with some delayed trades - looks like a few people have been waiting to get in on this. Then again, to be honest I'm probably ramping it, given how many I own :-) | monty burns
27/8/2003 00:06 | After a long period of inactivity, Trio trades today, bid up 1p on low volume | mcel101
26/8/2003 22:36 | Big Cat, typed the above from my girlfriend's house hence different name :-) Floppyhunter | gay
26/8/2003 22:31 | Big Cat, I did not mean to say that i valued these @ 30 p I just feel that they could reach that in the short term. I agree with your value of around 40p and then any bid premium on top of that :-) | gay
26/8/2003 18:54 | A month ago I thought I would forget this share as did not expect much activity until next set of results. I cannot now help feeling something is going on in the background but have no info, just a feeling. Did add recently to my holding. Could we be in the area of a bid maybe as some suggested a few weeks ago. | davron8
26/8/2003 16:39 | Some good size trades have been going on today. After the almost month long trading side ways finally Last Friday decided to move up and a good ticked up today, maybe signaling a new uptrend. | master rsi
26/8/2003 15:15 | Floppy - on what basis do you value the shares @30p - my fundamental analysis excluding the takeover factor values it at around 40p | big_cat
26/8/2003 13:01 | likewise here Monty but in since 12.5 and upwards........... feel this one will eventually be taken over and at least 30p on the cards short term IMHO DYOR | floppyhunter
18/8/2003 00:12 | Drago, I said previously that I see the future of Trio being strong following the investments in systems and staff during the last year and intended to add as funds became available. Not easy these days to add as most shares now holding look to be going in right direction so reluctant to sell. I only have info available to everyone who post here and offical releases and looking at buy/sells trends. Felt now was time to add as Mr Rollover may know more than I do. | davron8
16/8/2003 10:11 | davron, you could be right. there was supposed to be a web cast with trio on t1ps.com but the guy cancelled at the last minute. tw sees this as a good sign as the ceo probably dosn't want to have to avoid awkward questions from tom. ie speculating , as you have done, that something may be in the offing. good luck the shares are sltill cheap on a fundamentals basis | drago
16/8/2003 00:37 | No, just another rollover... But it is nice to see someone has the confidence to keep paying money to hold the 450K. | mcel101
16/8/2003 00:23 | Nice buys! | judgement
15/8/2003 16:34 | Just added another 10000 as I'm sure this is due a small rise before long. As said before, it looks good for the future. Whoever is doing the rollovers must be pretty certain of a rise soon to be happy to pay the commission and duty on the transactions. | davron8
08/8/2003 13:52 | Well it's looking a bit knackered now. A lot of selling over recent days, still small values, but not much buying. Someone just got 22 for 45k or so - still only £10k, but largeish in comparison to usual trade value on this. Not selling any, and happy to buy (a lot) more if it goes low enough. | monty burns
05/8/2003 11:17 | it certainly aint a sell!!! | floppyhunter
04/8/2003 11:08 | hi gize so wots thea shtory wiv this wun than is it a buye//?/ | petey barnes
04/8/2003 10:42 | Thanks Monty | kenbachelor
04/8/2003 08:40 | Ken Basically they don't have (or choose not to use) cash to buy and hold the shares outright. So they buy on a t-trade and on settlement day 'roll-over' the trade for another go. I remember something something similar (although not exactly the same numbers) a few weeks ago. Why? Fair question, could be lots of answers, but it's a reasonable guess that the purchaser is expecting a higher price in the not-too-distant future, or else the repeated rolling-over it will get very expensive. More fancifully, it could also be somebody with a position in a potential acquiror (ICAP?) who is looking to hedge their position in that one. A bit unlikely. Upshot, I dunno, but sadly not 2 large buys of 2.2m shares each. Still holding mine, and actually added a few more recently. | monty burns |
