Big_Cat I have always thought that Trio will be taken over eventually and early next year could well be the time. Looking for between 40 and 50p a share..... maybe wishful thinking but...........

badtime. we are having a good time with trio and much better times to come in my opinion. there is little to say about trio whilst we await their results, so a bit of chat on some other ideas surely doesnt hurt :)))

My tip for the day - SPD

Some good news released today about a JV, and they are trading profitably. Market cap of £0.52m seems ridiculous. Buy at 12p.

Me thinks it will be up by 50% plus at the end of today

Looks like we have a 2,000,000 roll over today, this does cost £4000 plus stamp duty if it applies. Whoever is doing it must be very confident of the future price growth.

Big_Cat. Have a look at TMN. Very speculative but £ 350 buys you a 100,000 shares. I have bought some and putting them away for a few years or so. DYOR :))

Can someone confirm that TRN is NOT an AIM stock - my current holding is in my dealing a/c & I have some cash sitting in my ISA which might profitably be thrown at Trio.

My broker proactively approached me to see if I wanted to sell my Trio holding shares as MMs were looking for stock. This, plus the big volumes today means that someone is accumulating big time. A bid on its way at last??

Maybe the jump in price is a delayed reaction to the interest rate rise, with the real prospect of more rises to come next year. Trio should do very well from interest rate volatility.

rhiannon, lets hope that this year we see Trio show the level of profits and growth that some of us expect. On paper this is very undervalued IMHO but it needs to generate a wider interest and investor base to create the push upwards. Good luck all.
