Hi badtime.

Yep, still holding.

HSBB is like One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, I feel like Jack Nicholson every time I go on there so gave it up as a bad jub and don't bother reading it anymore. Surprising how well my portfolio has risen since I smend more time in useful places.

Was expecting this to get a run up before now but the constant seller has persiste for a bit. The purchase today looks very encouraging tho - looking forward to the results.

Good to see insiders like Mr.Levene purchasing additional shares.I hope these purchases have helped to get Link Asset out of the way.

I also agree that these recent purchases have probably been precipitated by good semi annual results which I'm sure we all look forward to seeing.

The shares appear to be forming a good base at these levels.

Farsight.
I hope you are wrong about takeover.Good management actions last year have put this company in a strong position for the future.Lot of long term upside on this one I think.

ccullinane-Dont you need a large seller to fill a large purchase or am I missing something?

Ihope that the seller was Link Asset,so that they will soon be out of the game.As a matter of fact, the sooner the better.

It is very encouraging to see insiders continuing to add to their postions. This continues to indicate that these shares are good value at these prices.

macduck - I was talking about the volumes on the 24th, there was only one large sell compared to the three large buys that added up to the amount purchased by the shareholder in the RNS news announced on 25/03/2003.

I agree you always need sellers to fill buy orders, isn't that the nature of the game?

But you can never tell what are buys or sells with what is reported on ADVFN (although a pretty good indicator most of the time) especially with the delayed trades, that is why I said have a look at the RNS announcement where you can see who has bought or sold stock. On the 24th, however, the majority of stock was bought. That is why I said large buys not large sells.

rhiannon,

That is the sort of mindless, unsubstantiated, ramping that is wholly counterproductive.

I sold out at 22.5p and am looking for a fresh entry. Trouble is, so many people rate this stock and wish to buy back in that its unlikely to come "cheap" unless we arevery lucky...........but never say never in this game!

I disagree with Ridge that the markets WILL crash this year. They MIGHT, they MIGHT NOT, who knows? Making such statements requires a frontal labotomy (otherwise know as a license to give financial advice from the FSA!!! LOL).

Happy hunting fellahs!

It's unlikely to get that cheap again, simon. It's too well known and respected now. The only way you'll see those sort of prices again will be if the fundamentals worsen considerably to warrant it IMO.
