Master RSI - 01 Aug'03 - 21:19 - 790 of 792

Being the same amount and a few seconds later, this is a typical roll over, event you can call it bread and breakfast, sell it first, and buy it back later a bit higher so the MM can make a profit.

Can you explain why anyone would do that? I have never known anyone wanting to give the MM's money!

Looks like buys to me. I've only been in the stock for about a week but in that time you've not been able to sell them for the price those changed hands at. So, looks like a buy, hope I'm right 'cause that is a lot of stock.

In fact, according to advfn, market cap is £19.62m & mid price is 23.5p.
This means that 3% of the company is roughly 2.5 million shares.
If those have been bought by the same person there will have to be an RNS.

And if they are two different people/organisations, someone knows something or are very confident in the company to shell out the thick end of half a million quid each.

Those last 2 trades today marked as unknown (2 huge(?) chunks) look more like buys than sells if the price was anything to go by.
Something cooking?

Two large transactions of 425,000 each (850,000 in total) today - look like buys!! Sounds like the CEO accumulating once again..

ccullinane, thanks for posting. An interesting item. With the investments made by Trio last year we will hopefully see a good increase in both share price and profit as the markets improve.

A few large deals today though it seems they could be roll overs, being the same amount and the same time.

But the shares are ready for a bounce now.

No improvement on the share price but the L2 is getting better as KBCS has moved up to the BID and now 3 MMs on the bid side.

Does anyone know how Trio's involvement with the air charter business is going?

The bank of England has cut the Interest rates by a 0.25p, that should be good new for Trio.

The chart is ready for a turning specialy the Indicators,

I can also see that the MMs are giving the stock at middle price, I do not thing it will last.

Hopefully we should see a bounce off the support at around 23.5 - 23.75 if the charts are anything to go by! Strange to see the drop after such a large position is rolled over.

Are these rollovers normally associated with CFDs or spreadbetting? If so who would be using such instruments to rollover such a large position? Thoughts anyone?

There appear to have been 2 large 2M buys on this today...Or some kind of cross trade..

That's an expensive rollover of 2m shares - £3,120 I make it. £490k capital - what gives?

Not being very patient with this, am I? .........

Not picked up on that article per se, but did comment that Hagan, Levene and Nippon have over 50% between them and I think everyone is aware of the 'enterprise value' ie market cap less cash versus profits issue - that's actually why we're all here I think.

Sorry for being a bit swotty. Anyway, just have to be patient with this one, the time will come. And I can't see anything else valued this cheaply in hard numbers.

An interesting article about the buying of shares in trio. Dated 23/05/2003 but I don't think anyone has picked up on it here.
