Lol this has made me laugh. Sometimes one puts a foot in it and ends up deeply mired.

I suggest a tactical withdrawal winner, on the basis of being utterly out of your depth. When he's not on stage (as he is now in Blackpool), my son works for GOSH, so I approve the charity. Why not just give them the dosh and save yourself being knocked about it?

alaric7 - Am not overly concerned about the products. There's different views and they have a wider range than the one PH focused on. Have traded it subsequently to good effect. btw I didn't short it - bought at 7.295 sold at 7.855. Today's dive down to 6.7 had me a little concerned (eek, down £5k) but has made it back up over my average today (7.04). Still quite comfortably ahead all told.

It's an odd one. Joins ftse today/tomorrow so trackers will need to buy it, yet it has fallen again. Be interesting to see where it ends up today. My guess atm is c 7.35.

Johnswan. It matters not to me , it’s a gentleman’s way of allowing someone the opportunity of settling something but importantly raising much needed funds for charity. At the end of the day he called me a fool and a bell end , on a public forum. He has the opportunity to say what ever he wishes before the first bell. Proper rules an official referee and may the best man win. It’s out there over to him , G.O. Hospital would be the charity of my choice.

...sorry to say, Forwood, i follow the cyber sector quite closely and think Peel Hunt's sell recommendation reflects knowledgeable peer group sentiment on Darktrace pretty accurately. particularly as it clocks their (amongst peers well known) big marketing spend vs their under investment in R+D in such a technically fast developing market. so maybe a case of all mouth and short trousers a bit like 88E? trouble is the cat is somewhat out of the bag now and difficult to see how they repair the perception damage in their B2B market. certainly a good sell at 785p, not sure your buy back at 729p was such a good idea though. they're off over 25% (about £2.50) since Peel Hunt set their 473p target.

Charity boxing match? I've seen it all. What if he weighs 70kg and you weigh 120kg?

What if he was already an experienced fighter, like an accomplished amateur, would you still fight him knowing he'd smash your head in?

Or are you just really hard and willing to blindly take on all comers?

Edit: Aha, I see he has already said he is bigger than you and has fighting experience. So do you still wanna fight him?

Metalbee. Here’s something for you to consider. A charity boxing match between you and me. We can agree the charity , but a children’s charity would be good in my view. I would be delighted to travel to your part of the world . We can record it and also set it as a live event for donations. My donation would be £500. To give you an advantage you can pick the number of rounds the fight would be over . It’s a great cause and would give me great satisfaction for a range of reasons.
