02/11/2021 16:26 | Bit coin - it's more than likely algo trading by quant funds. Just ignore it. It's probably "computer says buy" or "computer says sell" depending on WTI movements or some such. Occasionally you'll see traders/sales traders doing that sorta thing to get the market price to a level where they can facilitate a cross at an agreed price (clumsy description I realise) and then you'll see a decent sized print thereafter. But what you've described this afternoon is mostly algo trades IMHO. I was house broker to a SMID cap whose mkt cap was £600m - £900m.....somewhere in that range. It was *exceptionally* thinly traded because of a core family holding plus supportive institutions who had the stock in their portfolio for years, sometimes decades. The CEO used to phone me up from time to time (probably when he wanted a break from his real job tasks) and asked why his share price was +4% or -3% in the course of 5 minutes. The answer invariably was that a quant fund was able to buy/sell deploying a tiny amount of capital and the company's share price would move x% after half a dozen small trades. Those small trades helped to move the indices in which the company was a constituent in a manner which benefited the algo running that trading strategy on that particular day. PANR is getting to a size where it'll be included in these trading algos. | scot126
02/11/2021 15:47 | There are sellers everywhere. You have to remember most people that invest haven’t a clue. They invest their £500 pounds , then panic when they are £30 pounds down and sell. It’s why research and education is the most important factor. Those of us invested here stand an incredibly good chance next spring of increasing value substantially. But you have to understand why that might be. I feel sure many people wouldn’t have a clue. | winner66
02/11/2021 15:38 | Not sure Bitcoin but the chart to me looks like were about to breakout to the upside in a large way up to late 90's I see this happening very very soon. I expect news will be within the next 3 weeks and many will want to be on the right side of the news regardless of self fund or farm out either way we'll be drilling the most impactful well of 2022 IMO | sirmark
02/11/2021 14:20 | All at 78.60p ? | bit coin
02/11/2021 14:19 | Is there any reason for so many 10 and 100 share Sale trades, I just counted over fifty in just a few minutes? | bit coin
02/11/2021 09:37 | Ice roads best built with temps between -20 to -30 i believe so plenty of time. | rafthorney
02/11/2021 09:36 | unlikely2 - Let's hope so. | gp1948
02/11/2021 09:26 | GP1948 As has been highlighted many times by different posters, last year the placing was announced 19th Nov and completed 20th - this still allowed a start to operations at what was considered an early time for the North Slope. No reason to suppose they will be any less efficient this year. | unlikely2
02/11/2021 09:18 | Bitcoin - Cop26 goes on until Nov. 12th which is maybe cutting it a bit fine for funding? | gp1948
02/11/2021 08:59 | Ngms - have you actually read what dhb368 wrote?!! | probabilityofsuccess
02/11/2021 08:48 | dhb368, you cannot be serious surely: Who would want the attention that comes with announcing a multi billion oil investment just before or during the conference You've clearly put less thought into this than I have... | ngms27
02/11/2021 08:46 | michaelsadvfn, LOL. From the master of actually saying nothing that contributes to the board. All you do is Alexander O'neal. Waterpolo, Squibn01, keeping 100% equity this winter has always been my personal opinion as the best option for equity if the acreage is as good as they keep telling us it is. We get to find out soon :) | ngms27
02/11/2021 08:46 | Top research Jonny as always. I suspect that those who have actually put some thought into it may have considered the likelihood that a deal has already been agreed in principle, ready to complete after it becomes clear that COP26 does not materially impact the terms of the deal. I suspect there will be a number of announcements across the sector after COP26. Who would want the attention that comes with announcing a multi billion oil investment just before or during the conference? | dhb368
02/11/2021 08:45 | "next few weeks" more like this month! IMHO | dan de lion
02/11/2021 08:42 | ngms27 "It's my personal opinion that a placing is imminent in the next few weeks as there won't be a farm out concluded." In which case PANR continue to hold 100% of the company. Still not a bad position to be in. | squibno1
02/11/2021 08:40 | It’s sometimes better to say nothing. What a tool. | michaelsadvfn
02/11/2021 08:30 | Ngms27....you could be on the money...or not....probably a good thing then drilling to come | waterpolo
02/11/2021 08:24 | behold, like the modern day Nostradamus, ngms27 proclaims "I'm calling it" forgive me for not asking you for this weeks lottery numbers | sporazene2
02/11/2021 08:16 | I'm calling it. Over a month since Farm Out talks were at an advanced stage and nothing announced. It's my personal opinion that a placing is imminent in the next few weeks as there won't be a farm out concluded. | ngms27
02/11/2021 07:43 | Deadhorse getting much colder from next week with it falling to -20 from Wednesday(night figure-17 day) | sirmark
