OTB had a huge run up in late 2023; there will inevitably be some profit taking. Jet2 didnt have that run up.

OTB looks far far better than Jet2 on a 3 months basis, or 6 month basis. Jet2 a bit better on 12 months.

Pick a different time frame, get a different answer...but either way, I wouldnt say last 2 weeks is a great timeframe

Alotto and Adam...I agree with both of you.As long as any update is along the lines of..."What we said before"...I think it will have a positive effect on Company value.

Continuation of trends would be fine. They spoke before about early signs of strong growth in FY24, and annecdottal evidence from other companies has confirmed that.

So OTB themselves speaking about that would be fine and growth enough to take the share price another leg higher in my view.

THink there's also a reasonable chance that they'll introduce a divi this year (even at seasonal cash low point, they'll probably be net cash) so would be interested to see whether there's something in there which tees that up

The last trading update was not that long ago, I don't expect something significantly new this time around. Maybe only reassurance for investors.

There's usually a trading update from this Company at their AGM which is 26th January this year.Just a matter of hanging on in there for a couple of weeks.

Looks like there's been a Trading Update at the AGM every year for the last 3 years even though, as you say, it's quite soon after the preliminary results announcement.
Next AGM is 26/1/24.
Time to load up now during this pause for breath???

"run out of steam" - well, its up over 50% in less than a month so the rise had to slow down at some point!

Still don't think its reached even fair value, however there will naturally be fewer buyers at a prce which is 50% higher given:
- there's less of a delta between market price and wherever you think fair value is
- people are always more sceptical about buying something which has gone on that journey

Personally I'm not selling though given that I believe there's very decent upside from here on a couple year basis
