Hope they gave you some antibiotics.. that'll clear the infection within few days.. normally worked for me when I've had issues.

Down heavily early on and recovered only about half to -0.7%.

Tough day for me. Managed to get into the dentist as an emergency to have that troublesome wisdom tooth removed after an intermittently painful three day wait where I struggled to eat. X-ray showed a "massive infection" all around the lower half of the root. That made it easier to remove, though, so it came out quickly and I was greatly relieved - but not for long. I'm now currently awake, hoping that ibuprofen will offer some relief to the pain that has been rebuilding through the night as the aneasthetic has worn off. Hoping I won't be posting again in the morning as I'll still be asleep!

I'm up +0.663% on the day today (FTSE100 +0.401%).

Best rises: IGG +6.69%, ULVR +6.23% and BATS +5.32%.

Worst falls: RKT -2.54%, SSE -2.49% XD and WDS -2.14%.

Some weel received reports today, bar AZN who fell. I spent the morning checking results.

Rained all day, with some heavier spells. Wetherspoons was heaving with kids. School holiday syndrome.

Good day for the portfolio +0.8% , well received results for ULVR and BATS , NICL strong advance again after yesterday's results, VOD on an update today ,HLN, IMB, ABF, DGE and NG....... top faller AZN on results, RS1 (broker downgrade), SBRY and RSW.


Overcast all day , still ok for shorts 21C.

Thought the mizzle hadstopped this afternoon but came back again half way round my walk. Collected a few damsons.

Spaghetti and meatballs in a chilli tomato sauce tonight with a bottle of merlot.

-0.3% Another poor day for my lot in whats turning out to be the poorest week for me in a while. 18-11 to the reds, MEGP biggest loser.

Still better than it was at lunchtime

IGG +6.7%, on results, a nice recovery from 21st Feb when I bought. Incl record revenue from tastytrade.
INVP only other material gainer.
The rest was poor especially the smallcaps.

Well that wae a turn around from this morning, At he worst I was down 1.2% ended up still down but only by -0.09&.

Not a great day for my lot, -0.20% SSE, FSFL & HFEL - all xd so at least a decent payout to look forward to!

Caught up with The Jetty last night, pretty good I thought.

Just had a torrential downpour causing a fair amount of flash flooding on the roads.

The South Korean economy, which is a big trader with the West, sees GDP drop sharply, from +1.3% in Q1 to -0.2% in Q2. Er, wasn't the West supposed to be seeing improvement in Q2?

I'm down -0.173% on the day today (FTSE100 -0.167%).

Worst falls: PHP -2.57%, BLND -2.56% then IGG and S32, both -1.69%.

Best rises: SMDS +2.20%, RKT +1.93% and RIO +1.34%.

Properties weak again. RKT half year results with restructuring proposals went down wwell. Good comments about KGF in Questor today.

All go today, feet this morning. 3 lots of roadworks on the way but just made it in time. Then the asthma check this afternoon. Collected prescriptions and booked a haircut for 0845 tomorrow. Misty first thing.
