....the appointment of Hybridan LLP as sole broker to the Company..

Putting money into this means trying to get the share price up by telling everyone how much the company is undervalued. That would seem to rule out any wish to delist or for major shareholders making an offer for the whole company.

Sorry I cannot remember how I first applied, except that I had both a Share and CFD account with them. I must have been with them well over 12 years ago. I do quite a bit of trade with them so that may make a difference

I still have both accounts with them but rarely use their CFD account.

I've been using IG's vanilla share dealing platform for a while with very few complaints but I wouldn't mind getting into L2. Is it one of those services for which they require you to prove that you're a "sophisticated investor"? - last time they asked me about that I must have been too honest and they decided I was still a naive lad...

IG are my cheapest provider. £8 for a deal, reducing to £3 if you do 3 trades the previous 30 days.

You can also trade CFD's on their platform, but I do not trade CFD's myself.

You can also trade without Level two information with them but still put your orders on the Bid or Offer.

Does anyone else worry tthat he more these random big hitters are turning up the more they will decide delisting is the best plan of action to get more to the bottom line?

Being listed probably brings something to the table but io ssupect they have been around long enough for that to not matter for most of their customers. Idle speculation on my part.

I use IG Index Level 2, they allow trades like that and you can see trades clearly and put orders on the Bid as well as on the Offer. I have other Brokers also, I dealing, HL and iii, my favourite is IG and most of my trading is done through them.

Look at the U trades which take place at 8am, 9am, 11am, 2pm and 4.30pm, not every day, but you will find a few over the last few days.

The bidder puts on a price a bit better than the MM is paying, sometimes gets filled sometimes does not, but the MM's have now had to increase their Bid price.

I thought the same but it looks like there were about 1.4 million traded in the time between announcements, its about 9250 a day.

I haven't counted up the declared trades since the last holdings announcement, but I would guess there hasn't been enough trading to make up the increase in his holding. If he isn't buying in the market, who is he buying from?
Or am I wrong about the trade volume?

I know what you mean, but am not sure any of us buying around 40p missed anything. It was just patently very good value, and still is.

A good question
If Jeff wanted to buy the whole company why did he only buy 25% in 2019?
Was this a try before you buy investment?
If that was the case why has he not bought the rest as the share price is now lower?
We have seen he has no plan for the company other than to pay a dividend which was what they did pre covid

Since Jeff lives in Canada I would think that he is happy to be chairman to keep an eye on the company. If a huge offer came in for the company I would expect him to take it. That is not likely to happen in the near future given the state of the sector.

I found some more takeovers he had shares in.
He seems to have done a few small company takeovers over the years
If its not a takeover then whats the end game here, what has he and Baryshnik seen that the rest of us have missed, or am I just making 2+2 = 2543??

I think he investing.

I checked with an old city contact of mine who said he was always involved with the smaller companies and had a stake in Merrydown cider which was taken over.
It could be he sees this as a takeover situation it looks like he has shares in various takeovers in the past.

Happy that the dividend stream is starting up again. That will also add positive news flow each time it is announced and paid.

Maybe the next step for the Board is to lobby for a smaller spread!
