12/6/2019 13:51 | ST - you get wound up too easily! | alphorn
12/6/2019 13:50 | #261236 - pretty childish. Was it really worth posting? | grahamite2
12/6/2019 13:47 | 2 brilliant posts in succession - thank you Shy Tott and willoicc. Let me add a lesser contribution. If the world's leading credit agencies say not paying the £39bn will not impact the UK's credit rating, what makes remainers think they know better? | grahamite2
12/6/2019 13:46 | think Gove is working on a plan to snuffle BoJo .. | pal44
12/6/2019 13:46 | Forget the referendum. We must do what is best for the country with all of the new information we have. Many people who voted leave were led to believe that a great deal would be easy, we could have our cake and eat it, and save billions into the bargain. I | careful
12/6/2019 13:45 | "The only alternative left to us by these remoaners is to remain in the EU. They obviously despise democracy." That was their plan from the day they lost the vote. If democracy falls then there will be much blood spilled in the ensuing civil war that will engulf this nation and tear it apart. | crossing_the_rubicon
12/6/2019 13:43 | One suggestion is all those MPs opposing the deal...put them up for a by election in their constituents...let the people decide...you will get a deal done quicker... | diku
12/6/2019 13:40 | What is it about remainers that they refuse to understand that leaving with no deal is the only way to get a deal? May's surrender/capitulati The EU have said they will not change the enslavement treaty. The only alternative left to us by these remoaners is to remain in the EU. They obviously despise democracy. How is any deal going to assist manufacturing in the UK which is being destroyed by the current EU 'deal' | willoicc
12/6/2019 13:37 | Alp, if the terminology of no deal is new to you or only seen on this thread, then you must have been lost in the Orleans forest for the past 3 years. Let me bring you up io scratch. The uk had a referendum where we voted to leave the eu. The only two options of leaving are with a transitional deal, or without one (can you follow that logic?). If the eu will only agree to a deal which they wrote and which only favours themselves and furthermore isn't even Brexit and we won't agree to that deal, then the only other option is to leave with no deal. Not sure what is so difficult with that and, indeed, any difficulties are pure inventions of those who for some very strange reasons, don't want to leave the eu (and furthermore, don't want to uphold the democratic process, which is infinitely worse). | shy tott
12/6/2019 13:35 | Onward brothers and sisters (and dont knows) to the revolución | maxk
12/6/2019 13:28 | Only old-fart far-right geriatric tories are really interested. The future is people like Rory Stewart. Whether that is recognised today, this week, next week, next month, next year or in 5 years is another matter. But change is coming, far right is dying that is obvious. | minerve 2
12/6/2019 13:09 | "the option of no deal must be kept alive" For who? Time has marched on and the threat, if there was ever one, has become diluted. There would have been much more noise about that option in the early days if it really was a realistic option. The only place that I read about it is here on this thread. | alphorn
12/6/2019 13:08 | Wow, Even roger harriban is virtually saying may's latest attempt to be remembered in history is bonkers. | shy tott
12/6/2019 13:07 | Ladeside - exactly; the naivety of some who believe that international 'principles' no longer apply are beyond help. | alphorn
12/6/2019 13:05 | LADESIDE, that's completely incorrect and Fitch and Moody's have confirmed it is incorrect. | grahamite2
12/6/2019 13:04 | May is only doing what she is told graham. The hidden hand at work. | maxk
12/6/2019 13:03 | BORIS: kick the can and we kick the bucket. | shy tott
12/6/2019 13:02 | But what if they are so sick of us, they opt for no deal? Unlikely but possible. It's good that you finally understand this! Incidentally, you are mistaken about one thing. Mrs May was wrong in everything whatsoever. Even today, on her way out, she's come up with another insane and ruinously expensive wheeze to wreck the country. | grahamite2
12/6/2019 12:58 | I'm sure it will, however our credit rating will be trashed and our country will be screwed completely.......... | ladeside
12/6/2019 12:49 | Boris should say 'If we don't agree a genuine leave deal by Oct, we shall stop paying any cash into the eu, ignore the eu court and every other eu interference with a free uk. That should get around any no deal problems. | shy tott
12/6/2019 12:34 | Theresa my, (remember her), was not always wrong about everything. She said the choice was stark. It was either her negotiated deal, or no Brexit, or no deal. You can add to those options a long extension. It goes without saying, the EU. has to agree everything except a crash out no deal. But what if they are so sick of us, they opt for no deal? Unlikely but possible. Ittakes 2 to tango. What a mess, people must be sick of it. | careful
12/6/2019 12:30 | Shy will help anyone out if they are concerned about their car's 0-60MPH figures. It's very important who gets away quicker at the lights. | minerve 2 |
