If ,sorry , When it gets back to 62p I'll probably take some off the table just to be careful and let the rest ride. 62p is still a really good price for it in my opinion.Though I'll probably ask wendslydale first as he's hot to trot at the moment :)

My average is circa 62p. I'm still expecting lloy to visit 50p again whilst there is the possibility of a hard Brexit. Updays as it meandersdown as well . You seem to have timed it beautifully to catch some well done. Do you have a target exit price for that trade?

mitchy: Thanks for your posts. What's your current average? I suspect I'm in a slightly better place only having the one holding.

"Oh how I wish it was you carrying that knife, Minnie."

Ah, but it wasn't was it! LOL

And I wouldn't be stupid enough to bring a knife to a gun fight. I would make sure the odds would be more in my favour, that is for sure. :)

Cheshirepete....Talking live to Tony Abbott last night on LBC was Nige.

I do respect and appreciate your remarks re; humble pie,but judging by the content of that conversation, the Aussies cant wait to stick one in the eye of the EU and do a favourable deal with us.We should soon be members of the third largest trading bloc in the world..the Trans-pacific Partnership.

No humble pie at all.

He got up at 4.30am their time to speak on LBC.

It's easy, don't want to get shot, don't start stabbing innocent people on a high street. I don't care whether they are white, black or pink with yellow dots on. Everything is easy with hindsight and the fact he did not kill anyone was not intentional I am sure.

Just a snippet to show how traditional channels for credit to SMEs is changing:

Goldman Sachs is close to striking a deal with Amazon to offer small business loans to its US customers as the Wall Street bank turns to Big Tech to extend a push on to Main Street. Goldman has begun building technology to facilitate the offering of loans to small and medium-sized businesses over Amazon’s lending platform, according to two people briefed on the discussions with the online retailer. The project could launch as soon as March. - FT

Social workers in the US are licensed to practice and need to have the morals of the Pope and have a PhD in the subject, but any uneducated, bankrupt, misogynist street bum can run for President!

Let's not forget that house prices rose sharply recently more than in the last 18 years ! Mainly thanks to Brexit being 'done'.

EverhopefulPosted February 4, 2020 at 9:33 am | PermalinkThe EU was a potty idea anyway. Who wants to share a bank account with neighbours? They didn't even want us to join at first...de Gaulle said the UK was "incompatible with Europe" and had "deep-seated hostility" to any "pan-European project." He turned out to be right. And over 47 years the EU has determinedly added to that hostility by its actions...not least in recent Brexit years by trying to tighten its embrace.
