Lets hope Lloyd's 3 billion spend on tech will slash costs and increase profits. Sorry, but jobs need to be lost.

But when the newer players become incumbents they will expect the same fair treatment meted out to them as was meted out to The Big Four.

a bit of a Barrier to Entry methinks?

Well,me thinks, but it dont look like they did at the FCA!

gnr: . . . 'Who is us? doesn't include who?"

Sadly the "US" in question are those who think that any plebs have "Taken Back" any power. Illusion, smoke & mirrors, the order of the day.

The shorting is against all UK banks,by muppet hedge funds, and is based entirely on an erroneous view of the post -Brexit UK economy.

They are starting to have to cover their shorts and I expect a recovery in this week very soon.

The problem isnt the EU..the Commission is full of hopeless inadequates who cant think beyond their personal financial security. They will be easily dealt with.

the problem is here ..the media..the CBI..the Universities...the alleged Law.

So dont listen to them..dont talk with them..ignore them.

As Boris is doing.

I like the way Boris took his time to get to Laura and Peston. I'll judge the man by what he does, but if he can deliver on half of it I'll be impressed. Nice to hear someone with a positive outlook amongst all the doom and gloom.... even if it doesn't last.

These figures do not go down but up and is thesame all over Europe. As I said, if Europe doesn't change direction, less power, more democracy and freedom, no corruption, min unemployment, well paid jobs and so on...
In ten years will be no union thanks to Brussels.
