We had calls on here for a sudden collapse to £10 on back of recent news flow. Well - the market was and is (so far) acting unbelievably strong. Fact - not an opinion.

Could be a very smart move. Winter season is normally loss making, park planes up and take advantage of TLoA.

That would be indeed a v frightening prospect. Low(ish) probability but definitely within the realm of what's possible pal.

My main worry is some neg news on vaccines, all I hear is vaccine vaccine vaccine.. when it's widespread that people still start contracting covid and worse still die even after vaccine then we are in for some real frightening decision making from governments. only saving grace would be censorship of failed government initiatives.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist, just been on this planet long enough to be rather cynical.

Ok fellas - here's my two cents: the latest news is hardly encouraging but the share price keeps holding its ground admirably. In addition, is about three weeks now that volumes have completely vanished. This seems to suggest Mr Market is (as of now) is still looking firmly past C19. This is not an opinion but rather a description of what the tape is doing. As some of you know, I always put the market's opinion ahead of my own as he is far smarter than I am. Can the market get this wrong? Of course it can but so far we have only seen a 200p pullback from a monstrous 1300p advance. Works out about 15% pullback. Hardly earth shattering following a stunning rally. What is more concerning to me is that state of general markets though (as most individual shares can't defy gravity if major markets start going South). RUT is especially in a very overstretched territory with NDX not being far behind. UK shares are quite cheap from a historical perspective but we can't decouple from US shares if it comes to it. Hence, any upside in broader averages can take us another +5% or so but such upside (as in the next 3-5weeks) seems quite limited to potential downside. PS. It's several weeks since I last traded this and happy to continue being flat (as the wise man said - successful trading is the art of doing nothing 99% of the time).

Xawested. You could be right though I would not quite put it like that. I will just have to keep a close eye on the fluctuations in price and review as necessary.

CT, I am with you on the negative view for the near term. I am out of Jet2 and the sector currently for this reason.I expect the share price to go south for the reasons you logically make. I will invest when the share price is quite a bit lower, only interested around the 10 mark.Jet2 is a great company, but with this crisis I will stay out.

Can't agree S007! Grammar (use of words) moves on, evolves over time. World would be a sad place if it didn't. But spelling doesn't! (Or at least shouldn't.)

Don’t start a sentence with but. Seems to be almost acceptable nowadays but l would have received a swift boot to the balls for beginning a sentence with a conjunction back in the day. 😂

I guess as a British company we are taking 80% from the government for wages.

The damage to the balance sheet still to be seen.

I would of been raising cash at this level ( above 12 pounds )

Still think they might
