07/1/2021 20:32 | Norwegian not looking too good. Sending 787s back to lessors. | donald t
07/1/2021 18:59 | I guess as a British company we are taking 80% from the government for wages. The damage to the balance sheet still to be seen. I would of been raising cash at this level ( above 12 pounds ) Still think they might tiger | castleford tiger
07/1/2021 15:18 | Holding its ground admirably. Still out but looking for the next actionable idea here. | tongosti
07/1/2021 12:13 | Tiger Why us it Tui , Easy and the rest loosing billions, but J2 seems to not suffer the same fate? When you read the statements from Brown and co you get the feeling all us not as it is smoke and mirrors it's odd imho. We know the man at the tops an odd character to say the least very strange man and his obsesion with red is a little disturbing. I was talking to someone who works for the company if you don't say have a lovely holiday and you have to say Lovely not any other word you will be sacked!! Pathetic | senn1
06/1/2021 17:37 | Surviving in this game is about dealing with uncertainty not pontificating on counterfactuals. It's a free country though - everyone is entitled to own views. Good evening chaps. | tongosti
06/1/2021 17:32 | If Great Depression has not taken place there would be no WW2. Without WW2 there would be no Cold War. And so on and so forth. LOL | tongosti
06/1/2021 17:04 | COVID 19. Without that we would be at £20 plus 72000 people would not of died and the debt in the country would not be where it is. End of the matter. Tiger | castleford tiger
06/1/2021 15:51 | True that - mistakes are all part and parcel of the game.A bit of banter never hurt anyone though - all I was saying is that our knowledge pal has an entirely different problem altogether. He called last year a bull market (buying like there was no tomorrow) between £20 to £10 and then he strangely switched to a bear market call from £2 all the way up to £15. Hardly know anyone else on this board who have made the same calls. Belatedly - happy new year! | tongosti
06/1/2021 15:31 | LOL You shout and cover every base only last week you said...... What a year has been for these shares. Next stop: 1700 - 2000 The share price was LOWER and the end of the year than on January the 1st. However the shares fell almost 10% in a very strong market . You gamble away and I will express my view and opinion, Tiger | castleford tiger
06/1/2021 15:27 | I suppose we all make wrong calls from time to time. But I think we can all agree that long term and post covid this will be a real winner. Suet | suetballs
06/1/2021 15:25 | And yes - relative strength is a key tip-off. I am amazed not a lot of folks (talking about the industry here let alone retail players) make a use of it. Good observation. | tongosti
06/1/2021 15:18 | Do you still think his forecast mean anything following his 2020 calls? Wasn't he the same individual who at 800p declares the share price would take 2-3 years to get above 1300? Stick to your guns mate - this is firmly in an uptrend regardless what naive players say. | tongosti
06/1/2021 15:09 | Tiger I can wait 2 years. Suet | suetballs
06/1/2021 14:43 | The share price will eventually rise to £20.00 = to £24 pre placing however to get 40% you may have to wait 2 years. The price may go even higher but it may not. RR is skewed away from an investment at the moment based on metrics. However before I get shot down DAY TRADERS MAY STILL GET A DAILY RISE. Tiger | castleford tiger
06/1/2021 12:56 | Banks oil and telecoms very strong today. But jet2 won't lie down! Probably because the vaccines look as if they are going to give us that long awaited exit. So why am I worried by the entry price when this could/will be a lot higher in a few months. The nothern streak in me perhaps. Suet | suetballs
05/1/2021 16:42 | 60k cases today and the highest so far - terrible. I think that the share price will continue to be under pressure until cases begin to level off / fall. imo £10 is very optimistic. So my stategy is to buy in again in a few weeks time when fingers crossed the vaccines and the current lockdown begin to bear fruit. Or preferably if I'm lucky just before. Or I could just read the tea leaves! Suet | suetballs
05/1/2021 16:21 | Yep 10 is quite a way from 13, but doesn't need to much to prolong the recovery to spook people. up until a week ago a bumper summer with tons of pent up demand was being priced in, that's being deflated a touch. Easter is probably going to be tough so further erosion of balance sheet The Bumper summer was never going to happen as we cut fleet size by 20% and have been very cautious with leases no 330`s this summer. Ski season now finished and TFS and the canaries out till possibly Easter. I have Portugal booked May but its 50\50 at best tiger | castleford tiger
05/1/2021 15:19 | 21 is looking to pay imho ? over length of time for vaccine prob be a mess just like testing. New strains and the effectiveness. I caught the virus over Xmas and I can tell you hand on heart it's awfull worst experience in my life. | senn1
05/1/2021 11:20 | I am out and sitting on my hands presently but keeping it in my sights.Trying to figure out a fair entry point price though as others have said is difficult. It is like trying to predict the direction of the wind in six weeks time, there are so many variables. However, I will invest when or if the price drops significantly more as long term it's a great stock. | our haven
05/1/2021 09:47 | Yep fair points both CT and Tong. what's a fair price has so many variables.. but i want to be holding again sooner rather than latter :-) | snorkelparker
05/1/2021 09:25 | One day at a time Snorkel. Don't forget that US indexes started the year way o/stretched and that helps bring the whole equity complex down as well. Once we have a tactical bottom on SPX we would then be in a better position to evaluate where airliners stand. JET2 has had a +600% in less than 9 months so this current pullback needs to be put in context. Still flat, but keeping an eye out as always. | tongosti
05/1/2021 08:30 | I can’t disagree with 10 as a decent point to go in That’s a big fall for shares that defy gravity. The government still picking up 80% of the wage bill helps. Tiger | castleford tiger
05/1/2021 06:43 | Looking like summer maybe at risk.. but that's not a given.. there is a lot of panic in the air currently. 10 quid would be a my entry position for sure ..but probably looking at 12 to buy my first lump... if we see 10 in this current sell off based on the mutant stain and any neg vaccine news that spells a buy. | snorkelparker
04/1/2021 17:57 | no chance Summer will be normal. hefty 12% reversal today. Surprised TUI is up that said TUI is miles away from where it was as is Saga. tiger | castleford tiger |
