Low shareholder returns?
My lowest buying price was 16p but they were sub 100 for a long time. The company survived Covid because it had reserves. The next growth phase has to be paid for.
I have my shares in an AIM wrapper which avoids IHt and thus saves 40%
Does it matter if the shares are £14 or £24 ? Unless you are a trader. Value will out at some point.
If you don’t like it then invest elsewhere. I support the BOD 100%

a). Nob). Noc). Nod). NoDoes this answer your question? |
Does anyone know why:- a) this co refuses to graduate from AIM, it is the biggest co on AIM but has refused to budge b) is there any pressure for a share buyback? c) is there any pressure to increase their paltry dividend? d) why are they buying the convertible bond, the shares are nowhere near the convert price and the coupon is only 1.625% e) the market perceives a share overhang and a large founder dumping shares on the market every so often? so why does'nt the board buy back his shares? f) how has this co managed for so long to get away with such low s/h returns |

Quite happy to be wrong. But making £0.5 billion net every year. Holding £1.5 billion in cash. Market cap £3 billion. If anyone wants to buy this company out £7 billion doesn't sound too far away to me. But highly unlikely as there is no likely candidate in my opinion. Remember, not one broker has this valued below 2000 and the market is often wrong especially when they have a big seller constantly trying to offload. |
Engineers have been in short supply for decades, its nothing new and affects all operators. |
Bounce starting |
Engineers. Don't know how long the contracts are, but people are being dragged in. They're in short supply are those guys. |
Which contractors? Guys on the ramp are about £180 |
Getting aircraft in the air is an expensive business. Air travel has been made to feel cheap. Contractors working on aircraft earning £700 a day... |
32campomar, your post 9702. You are spot on and I and others who dont post are saying the same. Even if they choose to ignore the current and near future climate they are too greedy for their own good. If they dont realise this soon more seats and hotel rooms are going to be empty. They are asking silly prices and punters know it. |
Notwithstanding my earlier comments about jet2 addressing the fact they are more expensive than their rivals, they need to bite the bullet and get off AIM. They would have a better rating elsewhere, they really have outgrown this market which most of the time hosts failing companies. |
Delayed trade reporting that started since Jan 2025...encouraging posters to go Bluey but not working...
