"Can I smell a slight whiff of bid interest here?" -End-

Hi tonsil, or could it be 'a slight whiff' of a bid drifting over from a 'Hedge Fund Manager in Hong Kong'?

If so, the talk is £2 and has been since 16-05-18 [IQE 128p]. "VERY SOON", springs to mind.

Do you get my drift? My lips aren't sealed, but I know a pair that are. GLA!

GAN for 5g filters & IQE have cracked the manufacturing process ( courtesy of Sweenoid blurb )
Another revenue stream as he states
Looking good, think a run up to 80p would be in order now.

I hope not, I really am not interested in letting any go until at least £1.50 but would prefer to see £2+ in a few years.

I seem to recall Sweenoid had the equivalent of a reasonably priced car per 1 p rise

( and fall !)

TVM diplomat for the last Sweeney report, it’s easily forgotten.
I have pinched a link from the LSE forum to a Yole webcast which includes a gorgeous 47 page colour presentation relating to the current VCSEL market.

It was made available on 31/10/2018 & gives a very clear pictorial display of what is going on with the main players re 3D sensing

(You should get a clear idea of how important IQE is at the epiwafer stage from the pictures 😁)

Bocase, yes a significant holding, not quite Seeeney levels but maybe half a Sweeney. Been very happy with the share price falls over past year, and remain a firm believer...

"monthly salary per 1p rise"

Either you are not paid enough or you have a lot of shares.

I have over 100K shares which is scary enough.

Gutted I didn’t add further in the high 50s but also happy to see what I already have rising nicely, monthly salary per 1p rise, let’s hope the bottom has been put in, and here’s to the next “few” years 🍻

Same say I guess but I did say 72p last week. I would also like to add that expect volatility but the the trend is upwards. This can surge pretty swiftly don't forget seat belts.

Remembering all he fuss about bad rev rec around the time this was first shorted, the other thing this EU article says to me is there is nobody left to believe this other than the author and the original shorters. If the share is really one of the most shorted out there then this rise, if shorts close, could be much swifter than people think.

I waited 2 months for the old pension pot to arrive in my SIPP last week and now realise just how much the chasing was worth it.

I just repeat to anyone who has NOT read the presentation from the last AGM to take a read before deciding what this company prospects are. If you then decide to short or sell at least you are doing it based on fundamentals rather than moving with the pack, the pack can change direction, has it? :-)

Nice to see us building on Friday's rise.

Stake building perhaps?

Nice 4.7p share price increase last week and nice [for some] to have shares lavished upon them.

But, to quote Monty Python [Life of Brian] , "What have the Romans [IQE's BOD] ever done for us"?

And, "IQE did well to obtain EU funding Fri 16:32

Must have been presented a VERY convincing case
WELL DONE DREW !!!!!!" -End-

Not sure that I agree with all said there, but fingers crossed for a further rise on Monday - GLA!

Tricampea:

No news. I scanned every paper and newsfeed but nothing.

Even a 12% rise in the share price should be newsworthy in itself but no comment anywhere.

It'll be interesting to see where we go this week.

Much as I would like to agree with you wendybatt you don’t really think that a future non EU country will be subsidized by EU funds do you. EU funding for EU companies. Boris & his cronies are going to cost this country a lot of opportunities but perhaps he forgot to mention that in Westminster !
