25/1/2019 07:38 | 3m hit for closing one facility generating cost saving of 3m per year. That's impressive. | owenga
25/1/2019 07:37 | 'stagnating' ? evidence? | adejuk
25/1/2019 07:36 | Have to say I was surprised how little cash they have left. They raised about 90m, in the placing at 140p. How much are those machines! I suppose a lot of investment has taken place prior to the generation of revenues. | owenga
25/1/2019 07:35 | Regarding growth, they look as if they are stagnating, just selling to the same customers, the same amount of goods. I hope all this will not negatively translate in the share price today. | fuji99
25/1/2019 07:35 | add improved performance to closing shorts and we could all be happy bunnies in 6 months | adejuk
25/1/2019 07:33 | i am not disappointed - on the contrary. | adejuk
25/1/2019 07:33 | Whoops, I'm the idiot.. yes they did say around 160m.. 154 was the 2017 number. I think 2018 is history now, people are looking forward to 2019. The share price corrections towards the end of last year were overdone. I assume the jump yesterday was because people had already seen this statement. Nomads completely corrupt on AIM imho. | owenga
25/1/2019 07:32 | Owenga, it looks like you are the idiot on this occasion. Read back - 13 November. As a consequence of the change in market conditions, IQE announces that it now expects to deliver revenues of approximately £160m for FY 2018 (H1 2018 £73.4m, FY 2017 £154.6m). | american idiot
25/1/2019 07:30 | Agree with owenga and adejuk. Future’s bright, steady as she goes. | tini5
25/1/2019 07:29 | They are qualifications, we need orders. Disappointing that there was no guidance | neil100
25/1/2019 07:28 | American idiot stop acting like your namesake. Revenues will be no less than 156m. In November they stated would be no less than 154m. | owenga
25/1/2019 07:27 | Actual revenues will actually be higher than those stated in the last trading statement back in November, even if only a few milion. | owenga
25/1/2019 07:27 | i can see good share price growth over the year and, barring black swans, excellent fy 19 results leading to re-rating. | adejuk
25/1/2019 07:26 | Phase 1 with 10 new reactors coming on line during first half 2019. I think the future looks bright as all those new qualifications come on line. | owenga
25/1/2019 07:24 | Bad update guys. A furthur reduction in revenues / EBITDA from the last update in November and now there are also a couple of 'exceptionals' thrown in to boot. Todays announcement read :- IQE expects to deliver revenues of not less than £156m for FY 2018 (FY 2017 £154.5m) and Adjusted EBITDA of at least £27.5m Net Cash at 31 December 2018 was £20.8m Versus Trade update - 13 November 2018 IQE announces that it now expects to deliver revenues of approximately £160m for FY 2018 FY 2018 Adjusted EBITDA is now expected to be approximately £31m ........... So, a slight downgrade on revenues and an approx downgrade on EBITDA of circa 10% since November. The risks are still to the downside IMO until Apple iphones sales stabilise. | american idiot
25/1/2019 07:17 | and we already knew it all except for the exceptional item which has no cash implications. re-iterates long term guidance | adejuk
25/1/2019 07:16 | Actually I was quite relieved when I read the TU. | marky60
25/1/2019 07:16 | plenty of cash and no need for dilution completion of capex projects cost savings still world leader | adejuk
25/1/2019 07:16 | Certainly lack luster.. More exceptional items.. Come on IQE, sort it out! | neil100
25/1/2019 07:14 | i disagree no bad news and good forward looking | adejuk
25/1/2019 07:12 | trading update looks less than good. No estimate of earnings per share. | nickwild
25/1/2019 07:08 | I would summarise the Trading Update this morning as someone walking in stinking muddy waters looking at black clouds on the horizon. No appetite for anything. | fuji99
24/1/2019 18:46 | Provonar, You wrote: Thanks for taking a look. I find it difficult with the notes on the applications whether they're just using the comparison between two CCDs for their 3D volume calculation, or whether the VCSEL is directly involved, too. Hopefully the latter, of course. It's nice to see the flow of new releases from other OEMs picking up this year that potentially includes IQE tech ... In a lot of the articles on the Honor phone they are mentioning that 3D is accomplished using Time-of-Flight (ToF). If this is true then that rules out them "just using the comparison between two CCDs" A ToF system requires a modulated light source but I can't see any mention of a light source (VCSEL, LED or EEL) in any article on the Honor phone. It is a bit odd? | maxwellsdemon |
