20/2/2015 08:44 | Superg, If there are a few shorts, I'd imagine any positive water news should see us jump 30p from here in the short term to the highs of last year, I'd be quite happy for some shorters around personally. The reason being, there would be no more avenues for rejection of the water application. Interesting times, clearly, the downside here is limited by the noise of traders, but the value of the business is much, much higher, regardless of water and due to iodine growth. 20/2/2015 08:40 | One would expect much higher beta then. In recent times.Today. And wider spread as MMs milk the trading pattern. | ![]() odvod
20/2/2015 08:38 | ovod, Lots of "C" trades always in IOF, sometimes as much as 20 - 25% of trades per day..some rollover, some close... | ![]() barrywhit
20/2/2015 08:38 | Heart You are clearly worried. £300 pp short at 39p means a probably had to pay around £3k and now you need a price well below the bid when the resistance is 37p and you have no idea what they will do with the spread and you have to pay above the offer price. So do we squeeze you knowing there is a 30k share buying to be forced today You are panic posting to try to get out for a quick trade and praying it's not at a loss. | ![]() superg1

20/2/2015 08:30 | barry - thank you. That was relevant explanation that I can understand. Also small values which makes sense if doing T trades due to the risk management. | ![]() odvod

20/2/2015 08:26 | I don't know why anyone is expecting imminent news, I have said to some offline that I didn't expect news. Water is held up as crucial by the Bears here, but it won't stop iodine growth, it may accelerate it though. Lots of T20s I imagine in here. I haven't bought any IOF since December, so I watch with interest. ACT, although he needs me to educate him about gaps in charts, was correct on a support point around 37p from this rise, the 200dma was the resistance. A healthy retrace is good from my point of view. Superg, on TUNG, I would also be a shorter of it if I had to make a call, there are actually very few companies I like right now, most are overvalued to me. I do like consumer related stocks, retail and I recently bought a few HWDN just to keep some interest. | ![]() che7win
20/2/2015 08:26 | We will know when we know. If you are a long term trader a few days is not a problem. In any case the share price will be governed long term by IOF's results and prospects. The share price right now is covered by iodine alone, if the water comes then the touch paper will alight. | ![]() rogerbridge
20/2/2015 08:25 | Thanks Barry See I did warn you, panicky T trade folk that have no cover. Someone bangs a 300 short in at the open hoping the lemmings will fall for it and the T trade folk obliged. Any more left out there. Heart you may have to fire again to squeeze out any that are hovering or haven't finished their porridge and checked, could be risky though with folks like us looking to top up. It's all generally done and dusted in the first hour. | ![]() superg1
20/2/2015 08:23 | IOF operates in the USA. Hearing was there. We should wait for the americans to start trading as there must be quite some people interested in the story. And it can take a few days for the real story to feed through. Get the news, get the cash, fill the account with the cash, buy. Or just do nothing if you do not hold. | ![]() odvod
20/2/2015 08:23 | There will now be a news vacuum for many weeks. Only one way for the shareprice to go and that is south. Now is the time to sell | ![]() heartwell
20/2/2015 08:21 | ovod, up until 8-20am 7 "C" trades closed and 2 opened,,,,look in the "C" column.. | ![]() barrywhit
20/2/2015 08:20 | If you could read my comms this morning pre market open. I said I wonder if someone will try a trade at the open to cause buys or sells. I then said watch the BB as lemmings appear, with all sorts of what's going on. Very happy to sit here and watch lemmings jump. PIs are unbelievably insecure. | ![]() superg1
20/2/2015 08:17 | Looks like a collapse is imminent while Iofina hide the truth of no growth | ![]() heartwell
20/2/2015 08:16 | Less than 70k shares traded isn't a reaction, doesn't look like anybody knows anything yet | ![]() jbe81

20/2/2015 08:13 | From the market reaction one would assume that things didn't go particularly well for us yesterday. | ![]() roundup
20/2/2015 08:12 | Ha captured I've just exchanged comms with a few stating I'm wondering if someone will try and make a trade at the bell to make it look like good or bad news, then heart appears lol. Is £300 per point all you can afford, Thanks fella it means I can top up more cheaply. | ![]() superg1
20/2/2015 08:08 | oh dear Banksy. Back into the 30s. No growth plans. All hinges on water. 50/50 | ![]() heartwell |
