BA make much of their profits from their transatlantic Business and First Class passengers.

Since the US started to open up 2 weeks ago which was deemed far too early, 19 States have seen an increase in Covid 19 cases while 12 States have seen an increase in Covid hospitalisations.

So from 30 airline to 9 airline in UK. and Air traffic must have gone up at least 10 times . Still airline has difficulty making money as there is too much cut throat competition and vafer thin margin on high volume.

One National Airline per country = A very poorly managed & poorly run, inefficient over staffed airline with way too many layers of management and too many senior staff, senior pilots and senior cabin crew who just sit on their backsides most of the time.

In the 1980's the UK had around 30 airlines, today only 9 airlines so how can the airline space be over crowded.

CNBC Steve Sedgwick ask the question to European contributors that do you think there should be only national airline for each nation as the airline space is over crowded and no one making money.

Monty.....In March IAG remuneration committee agreed to pay the CEO a 200% bonus, if targets are met.
Quite astounding in the middle of a pandemic, when they are planning to make 42,000 employees redundant and an apparent fight for survival LOL.
