The health bods in the U.S. are saying when Covid first arrived it did so in the big cities in the U.S. then spread to the smaller cities, the town and has now seeded itself in the countryside and there is going to be a massive outbreak come the 'Fall.' Like with most Pandemics, the 2nd wave is often far worse then the 1st wave.

Beaches were crowded at the W/E in the UK and are in the week weekdays as people go on holidays and mingle

Which IMO what with social unrest over the previous week or so

Means an uptick in Covid-19 cases starting as of today and growing over coming weeks

Within 8 weeks as of now we will be following the USA situation as the second wave hits

boris and co have 4 weeks max to get ICU's sorted with PPE and extra staff and equipment needed

or else

Given the choice between investing in IAG or Easyjet, it would have to be Easyjet.

1. EU thinking of banning people coming in from the USA, UK will follow suit. BA's most profitable routes continuing to be down the pan.

2. Central and S. America, Covid cases are still rising which puts Iberia under the cosh.

3. India say they are not expecting to reach there peak for another 4 to 6 weeks so no flying there.

4. Australia's boarders remain closed for at least the next 4 months except possibly travel to and from New Zealand so there goes BA's Kangaroo routes.

While Easyjet mainly flying solely round Europe and UK domestic flights.

team,

Iberia, borrowed the money from Spanish Gov to buy Europa.

Willie Walsh like to say the cash is IAG's balance sheet and is not split between the airlines.

Yet all we hear is BA is cutting jobs and using IAG's cash figures to back up the argument.

Someone needs to pull him up on this
