1mil trade reported after hours, timed at 8.48am does look like a buy

It's hard to judge what would be a silly price for this share given the performance of the last 3-4 years and the regular "one-offs" that continue to occur! Having been in for the last 3-4 years and having continually averaged down, I, for one, would be pleasantly relieved to get out somewhere in the 50's. Without a bid, I think it is really hard to see how the current management will really drive up shareholder value from the 33-35p level that they had got to. Maybe too pessimistic but I feel a lot of people/institutions would be glad to get out, even below 60p.
Having said that, I would love to be proved wrong by 22nd!Fingers crossed.

Companies very rarely take stakes before announcing an offer these days
And Stobart have yet to announce an offer

Pieces of knowledge we all know.
1. The take-over company is NOT buying up big percentages of shares otherwise the price would still be going up NOW.
2. So either they want to buy FLYBE for 45p OR discussions are on-going without them buying anything extra (no RNS)

I might be wrong but net tangible assets are £141m so that makes 65p a minimum in my view.

60-65p offer.....plenty of upside from these levels....Imho they will get it on the cheap, due to shared interests that a 3rd party might have difficulty resolving.

Yesterday the comments read of desperation -sp to rise. Today they read of resignation.sp to fall.
My advice is too sell this pig at the first opportunity to break even.

Coincidence Stobart have to show their hand just a week before trading update which points to a much improved picture going forward imo. Brexit aside , Flybe are on the cusp of great returns to impoverished shareholders which could now be scuppered. A private equity takeover was always the end game but didn't expect it at this price.

Well 44 is a key level - if we close below it will be bearish - volumes much lower than I would have expected this morning.

Today mkt cap about £100m.Dont they also have £100m cash in bank?This value doesnt make sense.

Practically all buys so far.Will push higher for sure.Plenty time for anyone else to join the party.Cash position is very good so this will be added to value. Surely the mkt cap is still way too low.
