22/2/2018 22:35 | Even if any deal isn’t reached the shares are now officially ‘in play’. Therefore, good times ahead. If no deal is reached the shares could have a sharp retrace only for it to trend up to I would say at least £1. | amorruso
22/2/2018 22:13 | I'm with you on that europa !The trading update was positive and the share price performance was distorted by the Dow tanking !Value always comes out in end . Think 70p minimum otherwise lets trade our way back up and wait for 1.40 p offer ! Sicknote | s34icknote

22/2/2018 21:39 | Bounce to 55p tomorrow, I would say quick offer 60-65p range, have to remember what it was worth yesterday...... | hippo
22/2/2018 21:24 | This is worth 60p plus all day long! More than that to make an honest takeover! Let's not underestimate the value to stobart that this could bring! | bmwman3
22/2/2018 20:28 | If it wasn't for the maintenance issues I feel we may well already of been north of the current share price irrespective of takeover rumours. The trading update was positive. Tomorrow will be interesting. Next month even more so. | europa79
22/2/2018 20:07 | Hi: Sick: YES I'm in this one - but not so much for profit, more to get back loses. I have a tidy sum in this - so chuffed! But not broken even yet. 56p would break even. Anything higher then I'm in profit. It is worth, in my mind, £1 a share - EVENTUALLY! So if no deal is reached that might be a good thing - because it can only mean the management think the company is worth a great deal more. Thus if deal or no deal - its definitely good news (long term) | netcurtains

22/2/2018 18:24 | Financial year end is 31st March so 5 weeks away. I wonder when Flybe would be capable of producing a meaningful rough profits guide for the year ? Any bid would indeed seem opportunistic to me, coming at a possible nadir for the company - Regional airline Flybe would view a takeover swoop by Stobart Group as “opportunistic Flybe said it had not received an approach from the owner of London Southend Airport and advised its shareholders to take no action. Shares in Flybe closed 36% higher on the London Stock Exchange after Stobart Group said it was weighing a potential approach for the Exeter-based business. Stobart, which spans infrastructure, energy and aviation, is eyeing a tie-up as it searches out “alternative structures” for its airline and leasing business. It said one option was to take a “non-controlli Updating the market, Stobart said: “Stobart Group and Flybe have a range of shared interests arising from Stobart Group’s ownership of London Southend Airport and its aircraft leasing company and the growing franchise arrangements between the two groups’ airlines. “As previously disclosed in October 2017, we have been reviewing alternative structures for our airline and leasing business that can play an important part in the consolidation of the regional airline sector. “A number of potential structures have been considered including taking a non-controlling interest in a vehicle to acquire 100% of Flybe likely to be in cash.” Flybe has been grappling with an IT overhaul and efforts to drive down costs, with half-year profits nearly halving at £8.4 million in November. However, revenues climbed 8.5% to £158.8 million during the third quarter as passenger numbers rose 8.1% to 2.3 million. In a statement, Flybe said: “Flybe confirms that it has not received any approach from Stobart Group regarding a possible offer by Stobart Group for Flybe. “Flybe shareholders are strongly advised to take no action at this stage. There can be no certainty that any firm offer will be made nor as to the terms on which any firm offer might be made.” | mikepompeyfan
