Heathrow traffic commentary for Jan. 2018 -

"Domestic flights were a key driver of growth, with UK flights up 6.9% in the first month of 2018, following the increased uptake of Flybe's offering. South Asia and Latin America also saw remarkable growth, up 11.3% and 6.9% respectively"

had a good trip from BHX to AMS yesterday on flyb. flight left and arrived on time which was a shock given all the flying i have been doing with BA from LHR recently. plane full, the only downside was the boarding process which could have been handled better. this has to be a stonewaller at the current price, especially if H2 is anything like dangersimpson's model a few posts back.

looking at the trade sizes is it possible that someone is building up a big stake in FLYBE on the sly? Next few days should be interesting. Is it just a storm in a tea cup or is there more

Absolutely correct Sicknote, people won't stop flying because the stockmarket has a correction, likewise Greene King only £5 per share, a real bargain, I for one won't stop drinking beer just because the city boys have got the jitters. Sit on your hands or buy the lows.

Did the same Manchester/Exeter around 6 months ago. Train £300 return - Flybe £200 including parking. Same kind of times as you state but obviously had to wait around the terminal (but prefer a coffee shop in the terminal any day to the train)

Hi europa79: Yes its possible this is the bottom UNLESS there are unknown unknowns heading our way.

So on balance, it looks a rosy few months, few years for FLYBE...
