If stock supply were lower than demand the price would have risen!

If it gets past 50p then it will rise quickly imo

they also did well to get hold of that many after nearly 500K on Friday. I havent seen many sells so would have thought stock is in fairly short supply

50p is both a key resistance from March 2017 and a psychological level so lets hope it closes above before the end of the week.

so hoskins picking up another pretty big chunk, surprised this is still sub 50p. Hoskins must be confident of turning a profit to spend 250K

netcurtains just seen your post from yesterday questioning the validity of my post 4493.
I think the responses from Jerseyman1 and standish11 back up what I said.
I do think Flybe has great potential which is why I continue to hold after 7 frustrating years. I stand to be corrected but I think Flybe have 500 flights a day and are a far bigger operation than most people realise. Once they crack how to actually make money and not lose money this could be a very valuable business.
Our road network is grinding to a halt and more and more people are using short haul flying to save time and money. Rail fares are exorbitant in UK.
Stobart are no fools but valuing Flybe is not easy but IMHO its value is going up at last.

Net curtainsFlybe don't own the Heathrow slots, they are borrowed from BA who had to make them available to other carriers as part of its purchase of BMI. Flybe operate a few slots, two to three pairs, to LGW which may have value of £3-5m maxLondon City slots used to be valuable, don't think they are now that there aren't so many operators vying for position there. Regional slots have very little if any value as a new operator can pretty much get any slots they want except at absolute peak times, but I have not heard of any slots at Non London airports in the UK being sold for money. Pursuing slot value as a material addition to Flybe's value to Stobart is pretty futile, it's not a material asset that hasn't been considered. I wish it was, but it isn't.

Unfortunately Flybe do not own the Heathrow slots per their RNS of Dec 2016.

Flybe will operate the slots which became available as a result of commitments required by the European Commission following the acquisition of BMI by International Consolidated Airlines Group. Flybe is not required to pay to use the slots, other than meet Heathrow landing and passenger charges. The slots will not be purchased by Flybe and will therefore not be brought onto the balance sheet.

take a look at their departure and arrival schedule. This time of year admittedly is generally quieter, but arrivals are at best every 20 mins sometimes gaps of 2hrs between arrivals!
