I don't see Brexit it as a negative for Flybe or any other airline, these flights are here, needed, used and the future of air travel is only up.
A deal will be struck when the times comes, I'm still positive and do like the business.

Looks like a breakout in prospect in the charts but in any case whatever happens with or without Stobart the share is now in play and others will be attracted to make a bid at such ridiculous levels.

Could all be mind games.

Stobart shareholders would raise a few eyebrows had a bid of 90p (fair value imo) been put in for a company trading in the low 30's. However a bid of 90 for a company trading at 50-70 is not so unreasonable.

Time will tell as always.

But they have Stobart Air anyway that operates across Europe, so if they do have to deal with Brexit issues after purchasing FlyBe. They could do it all in one across the board.Ryanair share price has held up well since it's pilot issues, so the market isn't that worried.I do agree FlyBe is getting stronger, so the more they leave it, the more they may end up paying.

Who wants to buy an airline with brexit looming?
Michael O'Leary threatening to ground Ryanair planes after brexit might have the spanner in the works effect also.

Call me a cynic but why do I get the feeling that the notification of the offer or lack thereof will arrive no sooner than 16.31 on the 22nd.

Deja vu no doubt.

Here's hoping they get gazumped by a prior offer from any competitor.

That would make things interesting.

errm there is no offer
and they are unlikely to go hostile
major shareholders will indicate what price they want and the BOD will be forced to accept/recommend if Stobart have the guts
the more time that passes the better numbers will begin to show through

Long way to go yet. Institutions won't agree to Stobart offer without seeing what Flybe defence is, unless it's a real knockout bid. With so many shares being held by a few institutions the scarcity of free stock us going to drive the price up significantly

With revenue growing by 10 percent pa the tide has turned and I think stobart know this . They have one chance only which I think will get us 70 p plus . Still a bargain in the long haul.Sicknote N a I

So the share price got managed down again into the close today. Again.But so little volume it looks like the sellers are holding out for a better price. Maybe tables turning.
