12/6/2005 14:41 | maestro, I must confess you have got me very interested in CDT........could do with reducing some of my more risky holdings at the mo to spread risk. What exactly is happening this week to push up the share price and what day? Visited the company website last night but didn't see anything there.......mind you was a bit drunk by then!!! | tonystringy
12/6/2005 14:34 | tony.. CDT works with both bio and conventional diesel..no brainer and you'll see this week with the share price...trust me | maestro.
12/6/2005 14:26 | Re the veg oil/bio diesel issue - although bio fuels (veg oil/ethanol) are likely to play their part as future energy alternatives, it seems from the research I've done in the past that these fuels will only ever be able to provide a small percentage of the total requirements as there's just not enough available fertile farmland to produce enough fuel for the bulk of motor vehicles globally. Shouldn't have any significant effect on the success of 'clean diesel' technologies. | tonystringy
12/6/2005 12:34 | so they have contract to supply for mittsui | soysoy
12/6/2005 12:32 | went to burger bar there was a man was collecting old veggie oil and he ran his van on it for years said "it was better than deisel " | soysoy
12/6/2005 01:01 | Doos, I ran my deisel ford escort (yes not too wealthy yet!) on veg oil once. 20L of veg oil from a wholesaler mixed with 1L of white spirit. It was noticeably quieter and had more torque at low revs than with deisel. Was glad when it finally ran out though........smelle -Felt good to be driving on veg power but paranoid in case I got too close to a police car!!! | tonystringy

11/6/2005 20:45 | Jeremy Peter-Hoblyn, CEO of CDT, commented: "In the past year, Clean Diesel Technologies has made a major step forward in achieving the crucial U.S. Environmental Protection Agency verification of systems using its Platinum Plus technology. EPA standards are widely respected and followed by the international market. The diesel emission control market is still in the very early stages of development of what CDT expects to be a multi-billion dollar market for retrofit applications for the next 10 years and beyond. "Manufacturers of heavy- and medium-duty engines have announced that from about 2007 they will also start to use exhaust treatment systems, representing another multi-billion dollar long-term market," Peter-Hoblyn added. "With these opportunities ahead of us, and with technologies that are proven and cost-effective, the time has come for us to position CDT to maximize the commercial opportunities opening up in the U.S., in Europe and in Asia. Mr. Azima's knowledge and experience of developing a technology company in international markets should prove invaluable to us as we move forward." About Clean Diesel Technologies Inc. Clean Diesel Technologies Inc. is a specialty chemical company with patented products that reduce emissions from diesel engines while simultaneously improving fuel economy and power. Products include Platinum Plus(R) fuel catalysts, the Platinum Plus Purifier System, and the ARIS(R) 2000 urea injection systems for selective catalytic reduction of NOx. 11/6/2005 09:38 | I think it was time to start a new thread... NEWS RELEASE for 9 June 2005 at 06:30 AM EDT / 11.30 AM LONDON CLEAN DIESEL TECHNOLOGIES ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING IN LONDON STAMFORD, CT (9 June 2005) ... Clean Diesel Technologies, Inc. ("Clean Diesel" or CDT) (EBB:CDTI & AIM:CDT/CDTS), a developer of chemical and technological solutions to reduce harmful engine emissions, announced today at its Annual General Meeting in London increased growth opportunities for its diesel retrofit technologies, progress on distribution agreements, major programs with engine manufacturers, new patents on its NOx reduction system, and the successful completion of testing with the US Environmental Protection Agency ("EPA"). Dr Bernhard Steiner, CEO, reported that the Company has made substantial progress in the last nine months. Particular emphasis has been placed on developing the customer base and bringing the Company's excellent technologies to market. The Company has an agreement with Mitsui to purchase its catalyzed wire mesh filter technology. This gives Clean Diesel a complete suite of technologies ranging from 25 percent reduction to up to 99% of diesel particulates. With over 30 million existing diesels in Europe, US and Asia under pressure to be cleaned up under retrofit programs, and 11 million of new diesels expected to be produced annually with lower emissions levels being phased in worldwide, the opportunities for the Company's emission reduction technologies have never been better. New arrangements for distribution and development for the Platinum Plus fuel borne catalyst (FBC) were reported for the US and Europe including programs with Rhodia, Dinex and Fleetguard. Several specific OEM programs have been initiated to demonstrate CDT's lower cost and better performance emission reduction systems for the new low emission reduction engines scheduled to be introduced in 2007 and 2008. As previously announced, the results of additional platinum testing for the EPA showed platinum emissions hundreds to thousands of times below standards for safe exposure. With the Company's markets being driven significantly by known and likely Legislation, the future of the Company looks very promising. MUST READ: ARIS Technology Offers Significant Benefits Get maximum NOx reduction. The technology works regardless of engine load from 30% up to 100% capacity. As a reagent, urea is not hazardous; it's easy to store and handle and there are no regulatory issues. No need for steam or compressed air systems to atomize the reagent. NOx is removed for as little as $1,000 per ton. Tune your engine for maximum fuel efficiency. Simple installation. | maestro.

11/6/2005 09:05 | why so little interest in this share when their technology could be standard fit in every diesel vehicle...amazing! | maestro.
