It's not about popularity, but competence. Reform is the way if you want a bandwagon full of long moans, but no answers.

Well Im out.
Wish I'd sold last week but with gold weakening a tad, and some large falls amongst other goldies such as AEM, NEM and Barrick, putting my money elsewhere.

Good luck all.

Disappointing to let this one go so cheap but the absence of any competitor bids always concerned me.

Been a long hard journey over the years and am out with a chunky profit of 80% odd

Not to be sniffed at.

In ISA /SIPP as well so luverly jubbly.

I haven’t got the figures to hand, but they are in the offer document.

Roughly 0.069 Anglo shares for every one Centamin share & approx 9p ($0.125) per Centamin share in cash.

Plus retention of the H1 dividend.

If Anglo share price keeps dropping then depending on how they fund the takeover it could have a more or less impact on the cost for Anglo.

Issuing any treasury shares.
Borrowing the cash. They have a revolving credit facility in place already.
Using Centamins $300m liquid assets.

As per usual nothings straight forward in the gold miners world.

Just need to stay sharp and dive in or out when appropriate.

Larry .. wholly share for share offer I thought with retention of a dividend . I like CEY but cannot trust the board now so sold out at 150p . If Anglo drops to $20 then why would the deal go through ? Needs to be closer to $30 to represent any kind of value . Doropo just round the corner and they are trying to steal CEY with CEY’s board backing it ! In my view an unforgivable position and if it does not go through the whole board must go .

I don't understand why your attacking me? I took it most people now know the COVID jabs are not safe and they don't stop you catching it or transmitting it..It's also linked to many deaths through heart problems cancers blood clots and so on...I'm surprised by your reply
