29/10/2024 14:30 | Zangdook I’m overwhelmed with pride. Thank you. | larry laffer
29/10/2024 12:04 | chin up, perhaps i'll name one of my kittens larry | zangdook
29/10/2024 11:55 | Zangdook Thanks for the compliment, it makes a change to see a positive supportive post on a bulletin board. People normally come on them and start slagging posters off. 🙄 | larry laffer
29/10/2024 11:02 | only 27 registered holders voted no. you're well-named, larry | zangdook
29/10/2024 10:57 | It is fair to say that we are being sold off at a price we would probably have reached without the bid. We were on the cusp of a re-rate when the bid came in. | arlington chetwynd talbott
29/10/2024 10:53 | I thought CEY might have been a good fit for B2Gold, but nothing seems to be happening there. | arlington chetwynd talbott
29/10/2024 10:43 | Zangdook That 100 voted for the deal, the other 100 didn’t. 😂 | larry laffer
29/10/2024 10:30 | You can't have it both ways "Me and my 100’s of mates are registered shareholders so it’s different for a nominee holder. Best bet is to speak to them, to see what their system is." | zangdook
29/10/2024 10:26 | 1gw “So much for Larry's 100's of friends voting it down.….” And how exactly do you know they didn’t vote it down By your own previous posts where you were you cut and pasted legal opinions and decisions about nominee holders being “filtered̶ Using your logic I have assumed that 27 NO voters was a “filtered̶ | larry laffer
29/10/2024 09:37 | No counter bidder emerging so one wonders what is putting these other potential buyers off? Currently digesting an acquisition - Newmont Egypt too much political risk? - AEM Barrick would seem the most likely given its "riskier" portfolio of assets. Looks as if CEY going to go for less than we hoped. Much of this down to the 50/50 profit share that the company was coerced/persuaded to cough up imo. Still it's a decent profit to bank. | geckotheglorious
29/10/2024 09:10 | Fact is .. CEY was moving towards a probable market value of 250p a share on the back of a fully financed , gold producing Doropo .. so ask yourself why your board would recommend this . There are questions that these guys will seek to never answer but they have given CEY away cheaply in my opinion. If they have been “bought off” as suggested then shareholders action group for damages with a personal action against the individuals?? | kennyp52
28/10/2024 20:34 | Looks like the BOD have been brought off....what a scam.. Have they stated date for listing to be cancelled...not interested in trading US market... | beeezzz
28/10/2024 19:49 | Think it will do well has 1 billion of debt but targeting 3million ounces next year all being well at the current gold price that should bring any borrowing down and interest rates are also on the way down so it should help as well I'm all in | tnt99
28/10/2024 18:09 | So much for Larry's 100's of friends voting it down. | 1gw
28/10/2024 17:46 | Not just the price of gold but Anglo shareholders still seem to think they have paid too much so surprisingly unkempt, seems a fair price to me and should make Anglo stronger so I am hoping for a rebound next year if gold stays up | sotolo
28/10/2024 15:48 | No such luck, but a good effort by the 27 all the same - that "majority in number" threshold for the Court Meeting was where we had a chance, but we lost 94 to 27. | arlington chetwynd talbott
28/10/2024 15:03 | No such luck, but a good effort by the 27 all the same - that “majority in number” threshold for the Court Meeting was where we had a chance, but we lost 94 to 27. | arlington chetwynd talbott
28/10/2024 15:03 | Convincing... RNS out. | geckotheglorious
28/10/2024 14:25 | Which, until they tell us otherwise, suggests that they may have failed to get the necessary numbers this morning. | arlington chetwynd talbott
28/10/2024 14:17 | It is not logical for cey to be under pressure when the takeover is virtually a done deal. The bidder can't pull out, any concerns about Egypt and Israel are now Anglo's worry, they don't look real anyway. The two shares should be line ball . | harry_david
28/10/2024 14:06 | The longer they keep shtum, the more interesting this becomes. Dare we hope that the rebel alliance actually pulled this off? | arlington chetwynd talbott
28/10/2024 13:31 | When the Shanta offer didn't have the support they postponed the vote. So you would expect the vote to be going ahead if they know they have the required numbers | c9ajl
28/10/2024 13:21 | If it was voted down maybe they would hold back the RNS for a short time while Anglo put together an improved offer... | zangdook
28/10/2024 12:03 | Did I miss an RNS? Was the date of the Court and the General Meeting changed? | arlington chetwynd talbott |
