I also switched to trading CEY to gain profits in 'free shares' (ie reducing holding costs) back in 2012. That has led/evolved to my current system (which I call 'The Staircase') which is now my main way to play the London market.

So I can thank CEY and the trading liquidity 'Zig-Zags' provided by the Canary Wharf crowd for getting me into a style of portfolio management which I am extremely happy with.

CEY is the share that just keeps on giving!

I am sure there are many on here who remember the 7p days of this stock.
It had already been a 20 bagger before the CC and fuel issues offered yet another low-ball buy-in at c. 25p.
Now all the way back up 7x (and counting) with an extremely healthy dividend.

Well done to all the team at Centamin. If only all mining stocks could be like this one!

Non-farm payroll +227k - more than expected, but, so far, it hasn't affected the POG nor Centamin. - Let's hope it stays that way.

Well, I'll break the silence just by saying hello. - Hello again hello. (Apologies to Neil Diamond)

In spite of everything, I'm pleased at the way things pertaining to gold seem to be holding up. - There seems to be so much happening so quickly. - The atmosphere is charged with anticipation and expectation, it's a bit scary really but a good time to be in Gold I'm thinking.

all been equal with gold I believe cey will fall the equivalent on the dividend
but I do believe between bow and then it will rise more than the dividend
at the moment it stand at less than 10 p/E excluding cash and gold in the bank, I can think worst place to put my cash this days
this must we worth around 220 at least

Like the looks of this; a gold miner that pays a good dividend and a good policy.
With political uncertainty on the horizon for 2017 my view is that PoG will be well supported too.
Switching from RRS and will be into the stock tomorrow.

Yes, I think it took everyone by surprise, including me. - As Jfishy said yesterday, you can still buy this share up to the cut-off date (02/03/17) and receive this fabulous dividend. - Normally of course the share price readjusts after cut-off but there is so much expectation now linked to Centamin that there's a possibility that the share price will remain robust and quickly recover. - It's something I'm considering. - Rebs
