Yes, it's amazing how a little bit of good news can lift our spirits and in Centamin's case confirm our faith in our judgement here. :-)

And, as I've previously indicated, there's a lot in the pipeline, a lot more yet to come. - IMO

Dividend cover thoughts:
+19m added to reserves after dividend paid.
Which leaves 231m in reserve.

That makes me think there is more than enough to fund Burkino Faso & Cote D'Ivoire going forward both in terms of exploration & for development.

Therefore, plenty of scope to maintain the dividend.

Looking forward, I am hoping the CC will be resolved which may allow CEY to expand exploration to some of the other old Roman mining locations in Egypt.

And if POG rises back to former levels...!

Looks like 2017 will be a good year :-)

Blew my prediction of 4p out of the water :-)

Results all look good, just need to be sure the dividend can be maintained going forward.

Final Dividend

The Directors proposed a final dividend of 13.5 US cents per share on Centamin plc ordinary shares (totalling approximately US$155.5 million) for a full year total of 15.5 US cents per share for a totally pay-out of US$178 million. The final dividend for 2016 will be paid to shareholders on 31 March 2017, subject to shareholder approval at the AGM to be held in Jersey on 21 March 2017. The dividend will be paid to shareholders on the register on the Record Date of 3 March 2017.
