Lots of chat today on the other board regarding the magic 42 number ;-)

By my reckoning that would get our market cap close to entry level FTSE250 and a stream of pension funds and institutions needing to take positions in CASP to comply with their investment strategy rules etc.

I'm thinking bring on the momentum!

Mind blowing! ;-)

I'm hoping the CASP team are negotiating hard with AR to get a better price, secure contracts for CTS to drill more wells on BNG post disposal and secure some of the production for our growing profitable oil trading business

Also updates and news on

803
B8
CE

Please ;-)

For those of you who aren't subscribed. We know it all. Most of us carry those battle scars, many of us have been beating the drum but I really do believe we're about to start seeing some real value creation. We're going to see selling, top slicing, adding or newbies entering the fray. Do much disappointment is 803 going to be the match that lights that fuse :)ValueToday 10:21Current m/cap @ £112m or $145m. Looks like shallows deal is a formality and if it completes Casper will receive $73m net of licence commitments. Add in CE cash @c $10m, the B8 loan repayment of $5m and that equates to 60% of current m/cap. The CE is on the BS for peanuts and it's true value ? Caspian believe it's at least $60m following the charter to ENI/KMG so if we needed to sell it, total cash could equal current m/cap ! Everything else carries zero value ? Airshagyl & North Yelemes deeps, B8 deeps, the rigs, West Shalva or the oil and poss commodities trading business. They've extended the appraisal licence for 2 years on the BNG deep acreage, whilst concluding the reserves appraisal process on NY. They're applying for 25 year licences separately, that gives them the opportunity to sell them individually with a lucrative prod licence if approved.Block 8 deeps x 2 are waiting to be tested following licence approval and our CC believes that they could be producing 2000 bopd from this prospect and WS by year end. This statement was made pre the discovery of a new interval at 803 which is currently being tested.I think we all believe that MJF/SY is being undersold but surely, they're doing this as they know that they can replace the volume in short order, bank the cash and acquire new assets eg the mining asset and other opps.Caspian is undervalued at this juncture as share price is dictated by PIs that probably own c 250m shares and currently, the tail is wagging the dog. Many PIs carry the battle scars of drilling failures, the egg on face sagas, the mis-communication from HQ, all which contribute to poor sentiment and distrust. This is about to change in H2, starting with 803 and if it's good news it's the catalyst to a dramatic rerate of the share price If it fails, the share price will retrace, probably to low 4ps but that won't last for long as the buying will resume as there is an abundance of material news to follow. If they fail at this unexpected zone, they drill on and the hype resumes and off we go again, waiting for the transformational news that creates the share price rerate.803 is a bonus find, if it comes in, it will be transformational but if it doesn't, we're still way undervalued imo and H2 will prove to be the most important period in their 18 history. If it is good news, I hope the Zeus broker note is ready to go and some quality PR to follow.

I thought WS was pants and then you look at the geology and the area of operation, existing fields, locality of processing facilities, ease . of drilling. Its actually not too bad

Yea you're right but I've never quite seen a company with so many strings to their bow and even if only half come off and the other half they go back to the drawing board, it's gonna be good. They just need to assure the rev and a few capital injections without further dilution. Kuats got an eye for a deal and knows his geology.

Sure hoping your positivity is warranted...and then we're off. Seal the sale, new deep wells, WS and B8, CE and open mine and trade commodities. Sure could be a roller coaster, tickets were sold today....

803 is our route to replacing lost revenue. If it fails and you've sold at 5 then in my view you should wave goodbye and move on. 803 is our much needed route to meaningful revenue. Prayer mats out that 803 is good news and allows a sensible exit route for those that want one.GLA.

Mr 247k @5.05 stopped the momentum but minimal selling I to the close. Not wanting to be malicious but I seriously hope selling was the wrong call. You could've sold 1.3m @4.91 and took the risk that 803 come is uncommercial. If it is, so retraces 20% and 260k+ free stock if you wanted to buy back in. Nobody took the option so let's hope all get rewarded with a blockbuster RNS.
