Odd we haven't got a date for GM to consider Audited Accounts and RCR recommendations

Last year they announced GM date when audited accounts were signed off

They are holding back the GM date for a reason?

I hope you're correct, but one of the many details not disclosed is the effective date of the deal. If CASP gets all the production income until the ink is dry, that's great.

But many deals for producing assets (see, e.g. JSE as they give out details) have a deal date that's at, or around the time of, the first announcement, and a price based on assumptions of costs and revenue until closure.

Perhaps the additional $5MM announced this morning is a reflection of the extra value from the production to the buyer during this negotiation period.

Is 803 definitely not included in shallows sale X?

As you say the cash will transform balance sheet and let them acquire new assets and review the possibility of paying a special divi or making a $22.75m share buyback before end FYA24

Well, it looks like it's going and another $5m in the bank although no guarantees until regulatory and shareholder sign off. They obviously want the cash, add in the CE cash and it's a chunk of money. Theyll also benefit from the prod on 155 until completion/sign off so a few more million into the pot. They obviously see that it's going to be hard work to maintain volumes as stated and they must be confident of replacing it with production from B8/W Shalva and the current deeps, 803 being the first on the list. Their oil trading business is lucrative and why would you sell your production, must be confident of replacing it in short order. If so, they'll have a bucket of cash to utilise on developing existing assets whilst acquiring others. Special divi probably on the cards too. H2 a very important time for our investment. A

Edit - High 3p range, low 4ps. As NN and others have highlighted, a lot of good things are happening, 155, CE, possibly shallow sale at the right price. History has made many cynical, that's history and we're going to find out soon whether that cycle continues or we see the transformation over the coming days, weeks and months. The scone and Cornish is here, just need that jam ;)

There was always going to be short term selling if 803 update wasn't immediate. Being here forever, you get kniw how this trades. I suspect it's the hot money and the followers of Zak Mir and others exiting, chasing the next little rise, nothing wrong with that, their prerogative. Nothing has changed as far as I see it and we have a shedload of news coming our way. If 803 is commercial then it will catch many out, when I say that I mean those looking to trade the range. As stated already, it could trade back to lay 3ps, low 4ps but a risky game to play when news can come at any time. H2 need will show long term holders what they need to know :)
