Prices of cruises have seemingly increased significantly this year. Even budget suppliers like Marella have hoisted their prices by around 25%!

Fingers crossed Doing the Celebrity Infinity out of Athens for Turkey / Greek islands in April They were doing some amazing deals- think it was originally scheduled for Israel /Egypt but had to pull that for obvious reasons and were therefore struggling to fill at the last moment Will report back then

Should be boarding the qm2 today in Sydney, but instead I'm in a hospital bed in Redhill. What a shame, but the state I was in I'd probably have developed Sepsis if I tried a 24h flight. So no reports from me on what it's like on the qm2 currently. Still I should get all the Monday back off the insurance which will probably go on her at some stage (ex Southampton!).

I'll report back on the QM world cruise after we join her for a month next week. Meanwhile, got to sort out flying to Sydney which I'm not looking forward to. Been avoiding flying due to the hassle for several years, so no idea of the protocols these days.

On the Euribia atm. It gives p&o ships a run for the money. 6400 pax so the buffet gets really crowded. Only 50% Brits, which I think is where p&o and Cunard gain. The comps are much better, free spec meal, priority boarding etc etc, pretty well nothing with p&o. Shows improved and as good as our offering. I'd go again, especially at the cheap prices they charge, about 80£ per day per person for a deluxe balcony
