09/1/2024 16:34 | marella are better then p&o - and thats before p and o started going down hillp and o are the cheapest and most basic line there is, admittedly there are a few reasons to go with them if you are british | hooray1x
09/1/2024 16:21 | No flights and on their web site there are no cabins left! At one point desperation set in and we looked at a Marella cruise ;-) We had a couple of cruises last year and were looking for a sneaky extra one in February ;-) | tlobs2
09/1/2024 15:54 | you are a bit late to the party, what do you mean trying to book a cruise, p and o are the cheapest line, what is the problem? | hooray1x
09/1/2024 11:54 | Good morning all. I held quite a few of these some years ago (pre Covid). I am now back in again and looking forward to shareholder benefits and a good return on my investment :-) I've been trying to book a cruise (P&O) for this year and it's pretty clear that the ships are filling up again. Give it a year or two and fingers crossed this will be back up in the mid twenties. | tlobs2
04/1/2024 11:31 | Possible I suppose but that's another 10% down. Seems a tall order but, hey, what do I know ? | ashwani01
03/1/2024 20:04 | Well if today is anything to go by then it won't be a long wait... | ickleinvestments
03/1/2024 20:04 | You might get there Friday | jan-mar
03/1/2024 15:37 | Buy order at 10.80 for me. | kasamavic
03/1/2024 13:20 | The results coincided with a retest of the highs so a good time to either sell or short. | kirtonender9
03/1/2024 13:18 | If you put the share price graph of the 3 cruise lines CCL, RC Norwegian together they look just about the same over the last 2 years. All suffering from huge debt that will take a long time to get back to their pre pandemic debts. Add to that the ever changing fuel prices, and CCL don't hedge their prices and the general worlds instability the price will be volatile. | jan-mar
03/1/2024 11:42 | This has been the pattern, rise into results sell off on news. It’s a trading chip right now. I’d like to think 2024 might be different as on the road to actual recovery. Still think 1000p on the cards. | smurfy2001
03/1/2024 09:41 | Conversely is a share price of a company has fallen ahead of expected bad results it will often rise when the results are out, because bad results are priced in. | kirtonender9
03/1/2024 09:01 | Once you've worked out when and why short term prices go up or down then you're on the way to your first billion. But most who think they know when and why short term prices go up and down join a group where 80%of them lose out. They are official figures Why fund managers, the only people with enough clout to reasonably affect a ftse100 share price, press the buy or sell button seems to be hard to figure. There are a multitude of reasons, only some of which pis can see (like COVID, Suez, Ukraine etc etc). | pierre oreilly
03/1/2024 08:38 | Buy on rumour ahead of results and sell on the news. Happens all the time with shares especially bigger companies. | kirtonender9
03/1/2024 08:33 | CCL is just volatile. The business is highly cash generative but it is carrying a lot of debt and that makes it very sensitive to anything that might drive up costs. The problems getting shipping (inc fuel oils) up the Red Sea to Suez won't be helping right now, despite the forward bookings looking strong. There is also a repeating pattern of the share price increasing prior to the results, getting a bit too frothy, and then settling back. It's a good one for the traders. | dig and sell
02/1/2024 16:24 | Sorry but why is it dropping with such hood results ?? New to this so asking a genuine question | lee181067

27/12/2023 19:57 | There's still time to short it. I think if the downtrend continues it will be going to 10.80 or even 10.50. | kasamavic
27/12/2023 19:18 | I did it was the 3 number security on the back of my debit card. | jan-mar
27/12/2023 18:35 | Sounds like yer had a fat finger money transfer ;) | smurfy2001

27/12/2023 16:30 | Sorry, more like 60 percent | jan-mar |
