Good luck with that strategy, not sure I understand the logic. End of December you were 80 percent in profit. Even now you must be 60 percent up.

Having joined the call yesterday they seem very bullish.

I continue to hold my core holding at an average of 775p.

The debt position is something l will closely monitor in Q2 and Q3, their strongest quarter.

I think the simple answer is, they don't know. It may be a hold and wait share but I can't see anyone rushing to buy right now. If it follows its normal pattern it will drift down again

Nevertheless, I still wish we could hear ccl's views on a divi. They must have some sort of strategy, even if it's not going to be considered for 20 years, or they'll resume when certain conditions are met.

I agree, no chance of dividends being paid any time soon. Even with record quarterly income and record future sales they are barely keeping up with their debt.

On the call they are still claiming to be reducing debt (l don't see that in the Q1 results, maybe next quarter) to get to investment grade. You're going to be waiting years IMHO.

So pleased the 8 grand i just gave to ccl and got absolutely nothing in return contributed to the great results. I must say, I wouldn't have minded something for the cancelled cruise, something like 'sorry you didn't make it, better luck next time, here's a couple of lobsters which you've already paid for. A bit of PR here wouldn't go amiss and would be profitable imv.

Anyhow, I finally got my shareholder obc for my next cruise in the summer. But what a palava. I've been reading several reports of others having problems getting it and they refused me for the qm2 cruise I just missed. Certainly they seem to be enforcing minor points whereas before they weren't too fussy.

The higher prices they talk about in the results seem to be holding, certainly with Cunard which seems to be more expensive recently. Good for ccl, not so great for me.

No mention of divi, they could at least have stated when they expect to resume them.

Buy 2500 @ 1170p.

This is now in recovery mode and my next target is 1400p.

jan-mar, enjoy you dingy around Blackpool beach. The chips and doughnuts are NOT included and you will need to paddle yourself.

Looking at Long-Term Debt, is not down but up.

Will they profit in Q2?
Q3 yes as that's when their business is at the peak.

They need to get debt down fast.

Back down to 1000p?

Adjusted net loss was better than December guidance. U.S. GAAP net loss of
$214 million, or $(0.17) diluted EPS, and adjusted net loss of $180 million,
or $(0.14) adjusted EPS (see "Non-GAAP Financial Measures" below).
